I'm dreading toddler beds and hope to keep DS in a crib until high school.
MS hit me yesterday for the first time, HARD. I don't know how I survived work. Today I've had a fourth of a shake and fear to eat anything. I couldn't do school work during DS's nap because the computer screen made me sick. So I went to lay down, and now feeling slightly improved.
Are people moving their kids to actual toddler sized beds, or just getting something like a twin with bedrails?
We went with a twin mattress on the floor. We have plans to build a bed frame for it that matches ours eventually, though that probably won't happen now until we move DD to the room she'll share with her new sibling.

I was gonna ask this too: how many O16ers are gonna have their LOs share rooms with siblings. I feel like I'm gonna need a whole thread dedicated to how to deal with this (bedtime, wake ups, etc)...
I'm hoping to keep DD in her crib as long as possible. We are very lucky that my mom will buy LO a crib so I don't have to move her yet. She sleeps in a sleep sack too which I think prevents her from being able to easily climb out.
We use a sleep sack also but it doesn't stop him. He's just a little Houdini looooooves climbing things.

Well we shall have no playdates, so he can't tell her how to perform such feats

You just described my childhood! At one point a group of my friends' moms told me they were not allowed to play because I was always getting them in trouble In hindsight my mom probably shouldn't have let me swear like a sailor when I was 11... erps...

In my sister's case, climbing also led to a love of jumping off of high places. It's how she broke my mum's nose when she was two - jumped from the top of the stairs. My mum caught her luckily, but then in her excitement to be caught, my sister smashed her forehead into our mum's nose...
