My hormone levels are dropping. They think I have a blighted ovum which basically means the egg was fertilized, but no baby developed. I have a final ultrasound on friday and we will go from there.
Me: 28, all tests normal DH: 34, very low count, motility, morphology DX - MFI 11/14/09 - Married 01/01/14 - TTC #1 01/06/15 - Started working with RE 04/06/15 - Recommendation - straight to IVF w/ICSI 09/04/15 - Started working with new RE Nov/Dec 15 - IVF w/ ICSI #1 - 11R/8F - 1 transferred, 3 frozen

I think the part that annoys me most is that they still aren't giving me any clear answers. My doctors notes went from blighted ovum to threatened miscarriage. I have no signs of miscarriage so I don't even know what to expect or think at this point.
I'm so sorry to hear this and also so angry for you that it took them so longer to figure this out. Look after yourself.
I'm still half in limbo that's the annoying part. They still haven't confirmed anything. They even changed the notes to say threatened miscarriage now instead of blighted ovum

Ugh, it sounds extremely stressful and frustrating. I don't understand how they can't make any conclusive findings at this point, considering you should be around nine weeks based on your first positive pregnancy test. An ultrasound can surely provide enough information at this point. I am really sorry you are going through this.

They've said multiple times that my dates could just be off and I had faulty tests or basically anything to keep me from fearing the worst, but at this point it seems stretched. Dont get me wrong I'm praying for a miracle. I just would like a solid answer by my sonogram Friday.
