34 1/4 in tall 26 lbs, 2 oz forget head but around 90th percentile I think size 8 (ahh!) shoes.. this kid's got big feet like his dad size 4 diapers during the day, 5 at night.. but when I run out of 4's prob need to move up to 5's wearing 24 mo clothes mostly (carter's sizes) but I think he's starting to exceed the height limit on those so I'll be buying 2T stuff shortly
He is around 97th% for both height and weight and his BMI is 77th%. He does not seem that tall to me, so that was weird to hear.
Diaper size - 5, but probably a 6 soon. shoe size - 6 EXTRA WIDE clothes - we just bought a bunch of 24 months / 2T and he can still fit in some 18 month stuff.

You might want to compare the 24m and 2T - the Carter's stuff I have in both sizes is pretty much the same. It might vary from brand to brand, though. We're just now moving into those sizes so I haven't looked at much.

For summer clothes and tees, there is no size difference in 24m and 2t. Long sleeves MAY be longer, as are pants.

Well that's awfully confusing, as the sizing guide on their website says that 2t is for the next two inches in height compared to 24 months - for carters, anyway.
ETA: I guess the weight ranges are pretty close.. but you expect toddlers to slim down yet still grow in height. So the increase in height with 2T is what I care about.. my kid is tall and on the thinner side. I realize some brands don't even have 24 month or the difference between 24 month and 2T is negligible. But with Carters, 24 month height is supposedly 32.5-34 inches vs 34.5-36.5 inches for 2T...

Fwiw, when it comes to shorts, tees, skirts and dresses, there is little difference in sizing. With Carter's, the waist in 24m is the same as 2t. The length of pants is longer. It would be worth it if you need more length in his pants, but for summer shorts, you can get away with 24m.

Height: 31.75" (I think they measured wrong because she is slightly longer than her 32" changing pad) Weight: 23.9 lbs. Head: always coasts along the 30th percentile line. My kids have smaller heads like their dad.
She is solidly a size 4 diaper, 18-24 mo. at Carter's but halfway out in most of our other stuff, especially tops.
ETA: I have been told repeatedly that boys' clothes run bigger than girls for the same sizes.

Where have you found extra wide shoes? This has been my biggest struggle because his feet are super fat!

We went to Hershey's shoe store. They had 5 pairs of extra wide shoes and only 2 were sneakers. One brand was Stride Rite the other was New Balance. I asked the guy if I would have more luck with styles online and he said its hit or miss with the sizing. He said Kohls is coming out with a line of Stride Rites but they are not the same quality because they will be massed produced. We ended up getting the stride rites because they weren't as big as the NewBalance.
That turned into a novel. Good luck! Let me know if you find anything else out!

We do extra wide from stride rite. It's a more limited selection than the rest of their stuff, but it's all I can find for him!

We have footie PJs in 24m and 2T and they're the same length. I haven't compared pants but I should. That does help knowing that summer clothing shouldn't be too different since that will likely be the majority of our 24m/2T stuff.
The boys' PJs vs girls' PJs we have are the same size, but maybe around this size range - toddler on up - is when boy's clothes start being larger? I've been counting on them being the same when I buy things like PJs and sweatshirts from the boys' sections.
Why must clothing sizes be so confusing? And I'm talking about adult clothing, too.

Hershey's? Ad in Hershey pa?
No, just Hershey's Shoe Store in good ole Garden City, MI.

That must be it! Good to know that at some point the boys and girls sizes start to differ.. but definitely confusing at times.
My kid hasn't even quite hit the weight range for 24 month clothes, yet has exceeded the height range for them.. so I think 2T will work for me for a while but I could see how for some kids it wouldn't make sense to do both 24 month and 2T.
DS weighs 23 1/2 lbs, 17%. He gained 2.5 lbs since Dec! Height 32.5 inches, 53% Head 19 inches, 62%
ETA: size 4 diapers and size 6 shoes. Since he's put on a couple pounds, he's now able to hold up his 18m pants. He won't get anymore immunizations until he's 4 y.o.

DS was 33.5 inches and 27 lbs, both 85% I don't know the head circumference, but he was at 97%! He's in 24months/2T clothes, size 6.5 extra wide shoes and a size 5 diaper.
