Was it the same poster who was TTA but still got all super sad and weepy when she wasn't pregnant each month and just couldn't stand going to Babies-R-Us to buy her friend a shower gift because it hurt too much that she wasn't pregnant?
This is going to drive me nuts...
That was rutherily.
Ah, that makes all kinds of sense. Wish I could remember who the other poster was.
My confession is that my husband really really didn't want me to get a Doppler... But he's away for work and a lady in my area was selling one nearly new for $20 so I bought it!!! Took me 3 goes each of about 15 mins to find it but find it I did (9w4d) and it was amazing and a huge relief. I've had barely any symptoms and was becoming quite fearful so it's a great feeling. Now to try not to become obsessed with it...
Forget toilets and buckets. I have trash bags everywhere around the house and car and just grab one when I throw up. I know it's wasteful but I cannot always get up, let alone deal with the toilet or cleaning something with how often it happens. Good thing we get our trash bags from Costco.
When you're THAT sick I say do whatever you need to to keep the mess contained. If that's individual trash bags around the house then that just sounds smart and convenient to me.
Yesterday was the first day that I've woken up sick. I went about my morning, ate my breakfast, then went running for the bathroom. I started crying in the middle of puking because I was so upset that toilet water splashed back up into my face.
I makes me nervous when I start not feeling well at work because the idea of puking in the work bathroom and having water splash back up grosses me out.
Quite likely I would try to run to my car and puke in the bucket I put in there if I really needed to get sick.
Car sickness bags from Amazon! I carry one in my back pocket at all times. I'm terrified of puking at work and not making to a trash can or toilet. Plus eww. Public toilet puking is awful.

Great idea! I was also going to suggest gallon-size Ziploc bags, cheap and you could just zip closed and toss.
