1. No. And I still don't know who won either. 2. Rarely. I only have a few pieces now. Our house was broken into shortly after we moved in and a lot of my jewellery was stolen. It hasn't been a priority to replace it.
1. Did you watch the Superbowl? Whom did you root for? Didn't watch one bit of it. 2. Do you wear jewelry? What kind? Favorite stores or sellers? I wear basic stuff. I love my diamond studs and I always wear my wedding and engagement ring as well as a right hand gemstone ring and I switch out other earrings, necklaces, and bracelets to match what I'm wearing.
1. Did you watch the Superbowl? Whom did you root for? My SO invited people over (actually, they kind of invited themselves...) so yeah, we had the game on. I could care less about either team. The halftime show was pretty cool, though, visually.
2. Do you wear jewelry? What kind? Favorite stores or sellers? Yep. There are a ton of very talented jewelry designers in my city; I like to support them and wear their stuff. I also have a decent amount of amber jewelry that I like to wear.
2. I wear my wedding band and engagement ring, a watch, a silver bracelet, and a sapphire ring that DH gave me for my 30th birthday. For necklaces, I switch among a few - a sapphire pendant, a string of Honora pearls, and a couple others from a local designer.
1. I watched the Super Bowl and was cheering for the Seahawks. I'm still in disbelief over the last play.
2. For the last few years the only jewelry I've really worn has been my wedding set and a pair of pearl earrings DH gave me. My secretary makes jewelry and she has made me about five pairs of earrings and commissioned a matching earring/necklace set. I'm really starting to get into it.
1. negative. I watched the puppy bowl, though. 2. I do wear some limited jewelry and all stuff that is symbolically important. I have a necklace of the North Star, an infinity ring which matches dHs bracelet...that kind of thing. I like etsy. and Tiffany's.
1. Did you watch the Superbowl? Whom did you root for? Yes, I had no preference. I as just glad it was a great game!
2. Do you wear jewelry? What kind? Favorite stores or sellers? I always wear jewelry. My sister did the lia Sophia thing for a bit so I have a bunch of that. There is also a brand at a local dept store that is decent quality but inexpensive. I tend to do more costume jewelry vs. really expensive stuff.

Joining it! I intro'd and posted a few times on the old board, I was limechiffon there.
1. Yes, sorta Seahawks but I didn't really care that much who won. We were staying with friends for the weekend, I spent most of the game chasing the baby around on the floor under the projection TV. 2. I used to be into costume jewelry necklaces, but these days I don't really bother unless we're going someplace fancy. And I don't have pierced ears, so all I really wear is my wedding band -- it's just a plain band, I don't even think of it as jewelry.

I posted an intro a little ways back but haven't responded to posts yet. I hope it's okay to participate. 1- No but I did find the highlights entertaining. Pats, I am a New Englander from Vermont. 2- I used to wear alot more jewelry. I love jewelry. I love understated pops of color, antique designs and interesting styles. Lately I am wearing silver pebble stone type studs or short gold leaf dangling earrings. This is going to sound silly but my Abuelita always picks up pieces through Avon and silpada. I also wear a charm bracelet that my DH has been adding to for a few years. He wants to get me a real Pandora bracelet someday but I love that he collects charms from different places.

That is awful that it was stolen. Did they take just the jewelry. What jerks.
olenka - are you Eastern European? I also have a lot of amber jewelry and see it much more popular among the Russian crowd.
strawberryshortcake - I never met another woman with not-pierced ears! Cool (I mean I met plenty whose holes closed up because they stopped wearing but never someone who never had piercings). How come? My mom didn't let me when I was a kid because I played sports and was very accident prone (still am) and later I didn't want to because I prefer statement necklaces and rings.

Just jewelry- a lot of it was still in a box not even unpacked yet- and a change jar that was on dh's dresser. It could have been worse but it still sucked.

Hah, yes similar story. My mom said I can pierce my ears when I turn 16 (said this when I was about 7 or 8). By the time I was 16 I didn't care anymore, and knew I'd just end up loosing one earring all the time, so I never bothered to get it done. Hope to play the same trick on DD.
My husband is Polish, and yeah his family is really into amber too -- necklaces, knick-knacks, etc. And crystal. In fact baby already has a few Swarovski items.

1. No. I did watch a bunch of lifetime movies though, so pretty much the opposite of the Superbowl? 2. Yes, I love jewelry. J. Crew is my favorite for costume pieces. I also have a big silver butterfly ring that I wear pretty much daily. It's become my "signature" ring.

1. No, neither MH nor I are sports fans.
2. I wear my wedding set and diamond studs everyday. Sometimes other jewelry from a variety of sources. I used to make my own jewelry pre-LO and I still have a lot of that.

1. Did you watch the Superbowl? Whom did you root for? Yes, I rooted for the commercials this year but they were a huge let down. 2. Do you wear jewelry? What kind? Favorite stores or sellers? I love sparkly and shimmery things... My favorite pieces are my wedding set and my Pandora charm bracelet, though. I have a necklace I wear daily that contains a diamond that was in my grandmother's wedding ring (she passed away in 2008), so that necklace has sentimental value for me.
