Figured we could use this tonight and tomorrow because we didn't have one yet and I'm so excited I needed somewhere to share.
I called my life-long best friend tonight to tell her I'm pregnant and she is too!!!! She's early, about 4-5 weeks, but this is awesome!!! We've known each other since we were 2 so this has always been something we would have loved to have happen, and now it has!!!
One of my best friend moved to Australia and we lost touch. We ended up being pregnant at the same time with our due dates 2 days apart. We both delivered early and her son was born 2 days before mine. Things like that always baffle me.
That is so crazy how friends can be connected like that! My BFF and I call each other twin souls because our lives parallel so frequently. Congrats to your friend too LadyNymeria!
I'm putting DD to bed. She's asleep, but I can't lay her down yet because I don't want to see the end of the bachelor before I watch the rest of it first.
My sister and I had daughters 3 days apart almost 4 years ago. It's really fun to do it all at the same time! And for once she was the more experienced baby sister since it was her second. I think she loved being able to give her sister advice.
My work is le dumb. DS spiked a fever of pl39 and had a runny poop. So no daycare. I work at 7am but have no one to watch him all day. Called staffing office because one of the girls was willing to switch her afternoon shift with me. Staffing said they can't do straight switches after hours because there are no specialists available. So I have to call in sick and they have to find a replacement for me. Dumb.
So I had pinkish discharge after playing outside with DS. It's stopped but should I call my OB tomorrow?
I doubt it's anything to worry about, and it was probably just some cervical irritation, but I'm of the opinion that it doesn't hurt to let them know just to make them aware it happened.

This happened to me last time! I told my work bestie to ask for advice on tell our boss and she was 2 weeks behind. We both ended up delivering early due to PPROM at exactly the same point in our pregnancies too. It was so so awesome going through it together.
My sister just got a squinty mcsquinter yesterday so we might be in it together again too - our firsts are 8 weeks apart (they were due two weeks apart!).

Aw, how fun that some of you get to be preggo buddies with your besties and sisters!
DH's cousin and his wife (who I am also friends with) got pregnant while I was pregnant with DS, so DS has a cousin 2 months younger. I have no preggo buddies this time though.

My cervix is kind of a dick. It's going to be a long pregnancy if I keep bleeding on and off Anywho I'm calling the nurse line this morning to see what they say.
On a more optimistic note boss man is out today and we're organizing a waffle house run.
That's so exciting LadyNymeria!! singingsea sorry about the bleeding hope the call will reassure you. Me and my SIL got pregnant at the same time and her DD and my DS are one week apart. It was so much fun and still is. My sister is currently TTC and I'm hoping so bad this is her month.

LadyNymeria that's awesome about your best friend! My best friend and her husband are going to be TTC soon. It would be awesome to be pregnant together even if it was for a second.
LadyNymeria that's so awesome! My trainer turned friend is pregnant too. She's due in June and it's been fun to bond over babies together. My first two I didn't have a pregnancy buddy.

Hopefully your cervix takes a chill pill and stops the off and on spotting. Have you talked to the nurse line yet? I'm assuming they're just going to say not a problem, but I was just curious if they had any other comments on it.
Days with no boss are awesome. Enjoy the Waffle House!
singingsea did you call the nurse line? Is everything okay?
Nurse called me back and we went over what kind of activity I've been doing the past couple days. She too thinks I just have a pissy/sensitive cervix and this on and off bleeding might continue for a while. She's going to run all the info past my OB and call me back. They might be extending H and my period of abstinence. Sorry H.
just popping in to say hi. I hope everyone is doing awesome!
physically I'm feeling 1000x better. I finally have my energy back and can stay awake past 7:30pm.
emotionally and mentally, we are both still struggling and imagine that we will be grieving for a long time to come.
post-op is 3/7 so I'm hoping to have a good chat with my OB (she's been on vacation during all of this!) and figure out a game plan with her and my RE.

Hugs callmeKD! I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. Take your time and grieve for as long as you feel. I still feel sad about my loss from September. I hope you get your rainbow soon!

Glad to hear you're doing well physically callmeKD. The emotional side definitely takes longer to work through. If you ever need or want to talk to someone, please feel free to PM me. Sending big hugs your way and I hope over time the emotional side gets easier for you. Thanks for checking in - it's good to hear from you. Good luck making a plan with your RE.
Good to hear from you callmeKD, big hugs to you. How exciting LadyNymeria!! singingsea, boo to your bitchy cervix. I hope it mellows out.
Are we still doing the healthy check in? I'm wondering, how and when are you working out? I already get up at 5:30 to hit the road by 7 and there's no way I'm getting up at an hour that starts with 4. I used to work out after DS went to bed, but holy cow, I am exhausted when I put him down and I can barely stay awake past 8:30. Help! I feel so unhealthy.
Lots of hugs callmeKD, glad you are feeling better. Take your time to grieve it's such a hard thing to go through and can feel lonely at times. If you ever need to chat feel free to PM me. I will be thinking of you.
