Looks like I'm joining the KU group... Even if unexpectedly. My gyno switched me from YAZ to Minestra after I complained of heavy periods. Well it lightened my periods alright, stopped them. I was supoosed to start last Tuesday, when AF hadn't arrived by Friday I broke down and took a test. I'll be introing over at Nov 16 shortly.
I want to be happy but there are so many factors working against that. H is freaking out, thinking we have to sell the farm and quit my job and the sky is falling. If you have followed the story of what my best friend is going thru in the private board you understand my heavy heart too.
We had such a hard time getting and staying pg the first time. I was diagnosed with the MTHFR mutation, and had to take aspirin months before conceiving. This time I didn't start taking the aspirin until I found out. T&P appreciated.
When we were TTC I hated hearing stories like this, now I'm on the other side I understand so much more.

Hugs, mamajojo. This pregnancy was a shock for us and it has taken me a while to come to terms with it and actually feel excited. You don't need to feel guilty about any conflicted feelings you are having, they are totally normal. Praying that everything works out for you!
I had cramping and spotting and thought I was starting my period... then I was distracted by LO and H getting sick and realized 2 weeks later that it never happened. Boom, pregnant.

Hugs, mamajojo. I had similar feelings in the beginning, don't be hard on yourself, it's completely normal. T&P that everything works out for the best and congratulations!!
Ok, I'm not 100% sure if this is actually news or not, but either way, you're the first to know. I think I'm 10 dpo. I'm a crazy person and started peeing on things at 7 dpo.
Yesterday I kept getting what looked like super faint evaps- Like a super squinter after the window so faint I wasn't sure if I was imagining it or not because I always have bad line eye.
Well, this morning I pulled a super duper squinter with SMU, but the thing is all I had at the moment was a wondfo that expired August 14. I have some new tests in the mail that should arrive today. I'm going to be looking out the window all day!

Yay!!!!!! So excited for you!!!! I got squinters with my first pg since, like you, I had a strong urge to pee on things. A squinter at 10 DPO is very promising. Hope you'll be coming over to Nov 16 soon.
My DH isn't much of a talker. After my yearly checkup, I mentioned to him that the Dr recommended being of the pill 3-4 months before trying, and said that means the earliest we could have #2 is next spring. No comment from him. .....last night I asked him if I should refill my prescription and he said no! I'm so excited! I know we are really lame when it comes to communication, but I guess we make it work.

((Hugs)) mamajojo. I don't know what your MTHFR variant is, but I'm compound heterozygous. I was on baby aspirin and extra folic acid for DD2. This time I was put myself on OTC l-methylfolate and didn't start baby aspirin until 7 weeks when my OB put it on a just-in-case measure until 12 weeks. I know everyone is different, but it can work out.
I got a light line with a frer this afternoon so I'm saying it's official. Now I just have to call the doctor and see if they'll do betas and/or an early ultrasound (~8 wks) this go around or not.

I am also compound heterozygous. After two miscarriages with no medication my ob agreed to do blood work and found the mutation. I immediately started taking 4mg of RX folic acid and a baby aspirin daily. I was on both for about 3 months before getting pregnant. Once I got my BFP I started on progesterone suppositories. This time I wasn't even taking a pnv. I started aspirin, folic acid, and the suppositories immediately. It's comforting to know that with the same diagnosis you haven't had any issues. Thank you so much.

That's great!! Congratulations!! My ob scheduled an 8 week viability ultrasound due to my history, I'm very anxious but also starting to get excited. What's your EDD?

I just want to make sure those with previous losses know about the Carrying A Rainbow board, great board for anyone with a previous loss who feels like they could use that extra support especially early on. Just FYI.
I was on the pgal board in TB before the move. Since I've already had my rainbow, I don't think know I'd really belong at this point, but I still have all the anxiety that comes with it, ya know?

There are plenty of us with double rainbows over there. Feel free to jump in!

I was put on the exact same combo after my three losses. ((Hugs)). I know this is a scary time!
