WDYT (what do you think)-- are gifs annoying?

I've never put a GIF in my signature before, but I wanted to diversify the Sept 15 board's february challenge (best movie/tv couple) a bit with a queer couple. But now that I have my gif in my signature, I worry that it's annoying because it's that much more to scroll through.

Will you give me your honest opinions?

If people don't like them, they can disable them so they aren't seen. Personally, I have them disabled, because I would like to draw as little attention to my browsing as possible while at work. The IT guy said, on an unrelated subject that if there are a lot of videos/noise on a site, then they can tell when looking at their data.

ETA: I don't know enough about web stuff to know if that is really true.

I think gifs are fine! Gif away! As shemarie82 said this site is nice and they can be disabled if people hate them so that's nice. I'm mobile on the app a lot so honestly I hardly ever see them. I need to log onto the desktop now so I can see what you choose!!!

I love gifs, as you can see. I do sometimes turn siggys off at work cuz it's annoying and draws attention. And I agree that my own boob gif is annoying but its a running joke so it's there. It won't be forever.
