I'm a FTM so I will definitely miss sleep the most, I think. I already have two dogs so I am used to not being able to leave on a whim or go on vacation without some planning. But I'm a night owl and really struggle without at least 8 hours of sleep (prefer 9 or 10), so it will be really tough to adjust to less sleep and early mornings.

FTMs, a newborn and infant is hard but let me sound like a generic old person here, once it passes, you'll realize how relatively short it is. The days are long but the years are short. It's one season of life and your memories of it will be generally good. Your beautiful baby and your little home life will always be better than a night out. I miss the opportunity but I'd never trade my awesome kid for anything.

Not planning my day around bedtime or naptime. Sleeping in after a night out. It never fails my kid wakes up the earliest on mornings after nights i went to bed after 10. She knows somehow. The ability to finish a a task before my kid needs something. This is getting better though.

Besides what is listed? I miss spontaneous sex. If I want to jump H I have to wait until after the kids are tucked in and actually asleep. And most of the time I'm too tired at that point and just want to sit on the couch without any expectations.
