Lol my mom keeps giving me shit for buying baby things lol. It's harder now that I know it's a boy. You guys were right - There is so much cute stuff for boys! I will take some pictures to aw Monday maybe

We bought a stroller and car seat last weekend and my mom was all "what's left for us to buy.. I'm not even thinking about buying gifts " and I told her if I see something I like and the price is right I'm going to buy it. I'm so super anal about the stuff I want so I'm just buying away.
I got some cute ass clothes and diapers I'll share when I get off mobile

Although I am excited for this baby, I have some guilt that I am not as into him/her as I was DS at this point of pregnancy. I know that's normal with subsequent children, but I feel badly. With the exception of a new pump I will get from my insurance and breast pads/ointment/etc, I can't think of a single thing I will need to buy for this baby. If it's a girl, I know people will buy her some clothes so I don't even need to worry about making her look girly (my mom was horrified that I am just going to dress this kid in all of DS's old clothing for a while even if she is a girl - we were team green before too so all of his clothes newborn-6 months were gender neutral anyway so what's the big deal?). But if she wants to buy something pink, I won't stop her.
But I'd love to see what other people have bought - despite not buying anything now, I still find baby stuff cute!

rungirlrun I was the same way with DS and only bought a few things for him. He just turned 4 so all the stuff we have is from 6 years ago from DD and has been passed around so much. I was very "meh" while pregnant with DS, and I felt a lot of guilt for that. But I made up for it once he was born.
I am most excited about the pack n play since we got a sweet deal on it and it looks brand new. And the moose. Because he's awesome. DH loves the oilers onesie because: Connor McDavid. And the sweater was the first thing j bought when I found out Flint wasn't a Charlotte lol

I really haven't bought anything since it looks like this one is a boy too and we have everything from DS, but I couldn't resist these cute pants when I was grocery shopping this weekend:

We just bought our travel system. It is the first thing we have purchased for this LO. At some point I will go through all of DS's old clothes and decide what else we need.
Which one did you end up picking sarcaztic10 ? I need to settle on a travel system.
We settled on this one. H wanted to get an actual jogging stroller but I vetoed that idea because neither of us will be jogging with this baby. If I want to jog I have a treadmill and H wouldn't jog with LO outside either. If we went anywhere that the stroller couldn't go then we would just put LO in one of our many carriers.
We actually got about $70 off because we traded in DS's old stroller so it ended up being a pretty good deal.
I bought a few outfits from Carters because I can't handle their new Spring line, and will just return whichever ones won't work when we find out the gender.
I also bought my diaper bag which I am way too excited about. We'll most likely buy a few more things this weekend since we'll know what the baby is, but we're trying really hard to behave and watch our buying since DH has a giant Italian family that wants to spoil the little one haha

So awesome seeing everyone's cute finds!!
Since we had to replace some of the gear that we needed to get rid of after having DD (small house, no storage), we have bought some of the gear. I won't post pictures of those items, since I know that most of you probably already know what they look like:
*4Moms Mamaroo (rocking/bouncing type thingy) *4Moms Breeze (pack'n'play) *Fisher Price Snugabunny Rock'n'play (which I totally love...its so soft!) *Chicco Nextfit Zip Air (convertible carseat for MH's truck)...a score during the BRU trade in event
DD has decide that this baby's animal is a raccoon. Her's was an owl, and we bought a few owl things here and there before she was born and after. So we found two pajama sleepers with raccoons on them, and we got the baby a Jellycat that is a raccoon, and a raccoon rattle. My former boss always buys Angel Dear Lovey's for people who have babies. She got DD the brown owl one, and she is going to get this baby the raccoon one....so I think we are good with the raccoon stuff! Since we are Team Green and DD and this baby are different seasons, I wanted to get a few summer type outfits to hold us over for awhile after my c-section. But I didn't want to spend a fortune for them, since half of the outfits (for the sex we don't end up with), are going to be passed along to someone else. I ended up going to a really nice consignment store, and found Old Navy, Baby Gap, Gymboree, Carter's, Janie and Jack, etc items for crazy cheap (I paid less than $5 per item), and a good chunk of them still had the original tags on them.
MIL has gone crazy with the baby girl clothes and some of them are just horrible. DH and I aren't ones to love head to toe pink for the most part and DH hates most of the things she brings over. I know she is just so excited to finally have a granddaughter after 3 grandsons.
Other than that, we are using all of DS's things with the exception of clothes. I have a registry for some things that we would like to replace but mainly for the completion discount. All of his bigger items were gender neutral since we knew we wanted more kids.

jenn83 my mom told me yesterday she got a couple outfits for the baby and I'm a little interested to see them...anytime she has tried to pick out clothing for me without getting my opinion the clothing ends up being returned (because we have completely different taste and she hasn't figured it out yet). I can only imagine something similar will happen with baby clothes!
I haven't bought anything yet. We have almost everything we need besides a carseat because our other one expired. We're overflowing in girl clothes from my DD and my niece. I'm planning on getting a cute going home outfit and that's about it unless something really catches my eye! I will also let the kids pick out something for the baby.

jenn83, mcktymck, That happened with us as well. Everyone said not to shop when we were pregnant with DD because we would get tons of clothing. We were Team Green, so that really cut out a lot of outfits when we had our baby shower. However, from the time she was born, and through the past 4 years, we have gotten some INTERESTING outfits. I am a pretty plain person....I don't like a lot of themed clothing, thing with sayings on them (like "Daddy's Little Cupcake" or "Mommy's Heartbreaker").....I guess I am more of a plain person (well, you can tell my taste by my picture of clothing in my post). I also have no issues putting a girl in navy blue and white stripe, or any solid color on a boy or girl. So my taste is usually completely different than family members who get her tutus, tons of frills, uncomfortable stuffy dresses, cartoon character clothing (except TMNT...that is 100% okay because they are awesome). She is gifted a lot of clothing, but MH and I end up buying 95% of the clothing in her closet....which is more our taste (including DD's taste).
Lol my mom keeps giving me shit for buying baby things lol. It's harder now that I know it's a boy. You guys were right - There is so much cute stuff for boys! I will take some pictures to aw Monday maybe
I miss dressing my son in cute clothes. Now I call it a win if I can get him to change out of one of his two Batman shirts. Cute clothes:
I haven't bought a single thing yet for this kid. All we need is a crib and a car seat though and that's so boring. I DID make her a blanket. I told myself I was going to go neutral. DD1 had a grey going home set. I SAID I would do teal or green or something. Then hormones hit. And I made this.
Our nursery theme is going to be elephants with a couple giraffes thrown in. As soon as we found out it's a boy DH wanted to do sports too, and I laughed and said sports don't go with elephants and we have to stick with the theme, so no way in hell. Well I went onto Etsy today to do some artwork browsing and came across THESE! I ordered both and am going to surprise DH with them when they get in, they're his two favorite sports so he's going to love them
