Sitting in the Dr office waiting for your appointment for MC follow-up with 3 very pregnant women. Can I get another waiting room..did I also mention on one of my forums one of the girls finds out she is pregnant. It's woah is me..how am I goin to do this? How did this happen to me. I am sorry do you not know how babies are made. (3-4 weeks ago she talked about having superbowl fun) Proceeded to tell her that babies are a blessing (she knows I just lost my past one) she should be grateful. She tells me I don't understand this is not joyful. I had to step away. Today is going to be one of those days.
Update: nurse just blankly looked at me and said "What are you here for again?"
Can I take the day off..to wallow now.
I hope everyone else is having a better day...this is going to be a long one.

Hi everyone I misscarried last week at 9 wks. I had a chemical pregnancy last fall and earlier pregnancy last year had that had to end at 16 wks because the baby had a major birth defecT and was going to be stillborn. I hear you about the waiting room. This past Friday I was waiting in the hospital to get my blood drawn to check hormone levels. This was right after my appointment and ultrasound confirming I had misscarried. A woman in the waiting room who also had just had an ultrasound was discussing her apt and said she asked the doctor if she could smoke pot during the pregnancy. She then proceeded to tell her friend she felt high. While I give her credit for asking I really just wanted to get up and scream at her or punch her I'm the face. People can be so ignorant. While I respect and totally understand if someone chooses to go terminate a pregnancy because of personal choice or a medical reason if you ARE going to go through with it don't be so selfish. What a piece of trash. Feeling angry at the world!
Hi dear. I can sort of understand where your acupuncturist may be coming from, but I think it is more to do with blood circulation in the uterus. Women with clotting problems normally have bad blood circulation in the womb, which is why they are prescribed blood thinning medicines like aspirin or heparin. Many women who have suffered 3 or more miscarriages are normally put on high dose folic acid which also improves circulation in the uterus. You need good circulation in there so that the right hormones can be continuously released by your ovaries, and that when the placenta forms, the baby can keep getting a flow of nutrients through it. I know a lot of old medicine forms, such as Chinese or Ayurvedic refer to things or certain foods as "hot" or "cold" for or in the body, so I don't think it's that’s ridiculous when you know this piece of information. Frankly speaking, I have a very good gynecologist who is very good with his tips which helped me a lot. My best wishes are for your future. Be safe and stay blessed.
I know the pain of waiting room. I have lived half of my life from fertility clinic to home and back to the fertility clinic. And that's terrible journey to observe and to have.
I am so sorry to hear that. I wish no one could have this journey. This pain is just not that good to be explained in words. It's hurting.
And it even gets greater when we got to see pregnant women. It's really not that we are not happy for them. We are! But we are struggling and that make us insecure.
Hey. This is an awful situation. I know, I've experienced it. You've had a tough day. Here's to you, I hope it gets better, ASAP. Good luck to you and lots of love. You deserve better.
I am sorry for your loss. This must have been a very hard journey for you. It is unbelievable that the nurse said that. Honestly, this is one of the reasons why I never went to a one in my own vicinity. I was told by other patients how they are also very rude. However, I found this clinic abroad that was helping so many infertile couples out. I was so impressed with their services as well. I got in touch with them over email. They assigned me a manager who then helped me out throughout. Their communication network was truly amazing. I during this time also was following Anastasia member of the clinic's blog. Here she was updating everyone about the clinic. I was always so interested to read it. Every week she would post updates about the surrogates and the birth. I hope the process goes well.
I am extremely sorry to hear about your MC. I can understand how difficult this must be for you. However, don't lose hope. I am sure things will get better. Waiting rooms are indeed the worst nightmare. Just don't give up and keep trying. Good luck to you. Sending baby dust your way.
