I work at an environmental consulting firm as an environmental scientist. I get to work with state wildlife agencies and clients on protecting threatened and endangered species. It's awesome and I love it, especially since I get to work from home most days.
I also work in the environmental field for the government. I wondered what you did when you said something about going out in the field in the other thread. That's not an expression used in a lot of other lines of work.
Lol. I'm working on vegetation restoration on a military base right now. Fun in the field!
We actually met at work....he was a subcontractor that I managed. We worked on a project in the middle of nowhere so we had a lot of time to get to know each other!
Where do you live on the west coast? Have you always lived there? What's the best and worse thing about where you live?
I live in the mountains in Southern California and have lived here for 1.5 years. Before I lived in irvine, ca for 10 years but I was born and raised in nj. I live in a beautiful area, surrounded by nature, but it's kind of remote so we don't have many restaurants and it's a long drive from our friends so we don't see them often .
