1. 20 + 2 2. RLP at times due to sudden movement 3. Had 20 week last Friday and next appt is April 11th with GD test ;( 4. I had a somewhat bad scan last week. The baby's umbilical cord only has one artery instead of the normal two. Doctor didn't seem overly concerned just said addition monitoring of growth but i of course couldn't stay away from Google and am somewhat stressed. 5. My godson gets confirmed on Easter so we will go to that. I am taking DD to my parents in two weeks for an Easter egg hunt at my dads work but that might be it for major plans. I am sad bc I loved Easter ham but that is a good aversion for me right now
2. Symptoms? Still dealing with HG. Had to go to OB on Fri as they thought I was in preterm labor. Turns out the zofran caused severe constipation. So thank goodness my cervix was long and closed still.
3. I have a regular OB appt on Wed.
4. I'm just so over throwing up daily and feeling like crap. I don't really ever leave house and I feel bad H had had to help me out for so long.
Hugs!! Hg sucks. Are you doing stool softener? I am taking it 2x a day. It helps. I hope you get a little relief soon!
Yes and it wasn't enough! Now we have thrown in miralax and another big gun.

1. How many weeks are you? 20w1d 2. Symptoms? Tired. Have been feeling more tired than I did first trimester. 3. Upcoming appts? Monthly prenatal at the end of March 4. Rants/raves? Finally getting some storage boxes out of the baby room, to get started on it 5. Gtky: Any Easter plans? Go to IL's, eat good food, and go to my family's Easter.....eat some more.
katelou , I am having a fair amount of discomfort from SPD. It mostly feels like my pelvis is breaking in half, especially when I stand up and it is usually worse when I do too much. And there is no magic position that makes it go away. I would give your doctor a call just to check in, though. Sometimes they recommend those pregnancy support belt things to help. I never used one but if it continues I may consider.
katelou, This. I have it too (didn't have it my first pregnancy), and it started at week 13 (I am now 20w). It is really limiting my ability to get anything done, so even if I spend all day trying to get things accomplished, it still takes me a lot longer than it normally does. And some days, I am completely down for the count, and can't get anything done, past my work duties. The worst is at night, trying to get out of bed to pee....it feels like my pelvis is going to snap in half. There are some exercises that you can do, that are suppose to help, but they haven't been helping me. I am the opposite of acorn99, and it hurts more when I am not doing things and feels better moving around. I don't know if it is because the busier I seem to be, that distracts me from it, or what. But I have noticed that the days that I just relax and take it easy, it seems like it hurts twice as much just to get off of the couch.
2. Symptoms? RLP every now and then. I made the mistake of sneezing while sitting cross-legged and OUCH. Still hip pain while sleeping, and am starting to have a lot of back pain and tailbone pain if I'm on my feet for an extended amount of time. Feeling more movement.
3. Upcoming appts? Prenatal checkup on 3/29
4. Rants/raves? We're moving in with my mom and her BF in a couple weeks and will be living with them until mid-June when the house they're building is completed. At that point we'll rent her current place from her. I'm already stressing about living with my mom because she's so nosy, opinionated, and judgmental, especially when it comes to this pregnancy. When we told her the name we were planning on going with and the nickname for it, she turned her nose up and said "that's a girly name, I'm not calling him that." 1) It's not girly, and 2) I'll call my son whatever I want to call him. Can't wait to live with her for two months...
5. Gtky: Any Easter plans? My mom had no idea it was so early this year so her and her BF will be in AZ for spring training on Easter. DH and I will be moving that weekend, and then I guess we'll be doing Easter that Monday.
2. Symptoms?: RLP, baby kicking, lower back pain, getting tired out much faster than normal.
3. Upcoming appts?: March 15
4. Rants/raves?: half baked today! It feels like it both went super fast and also like I can't believe I still have another 20 weeks to go. I'm also a bit sick of people coming up with name suggestions for me. I hate having to keep turning them down and I also want to come up with a name on my own and not having a family member on either side taking credit for it.
5. Gtky: Any Easter plans?: hmmm good question. I'm not really sure actually. I don't know if my aunt will be hosting something or if we will go out to eat or what.
willow that's been one of the most frustrating/annoying things so far about being pregnant, everyone has a name suggestion! My mom was the worst out of them all (and had the worst taste in names), I finally told her she's not allowed to suggest anything else haha. Just tell them you've already picked a name but aren't sharing it, that should stop the unwanted ideas!

Exactly, I don't want to make them feel bad just because I don't like the name(s) since they aren't BAD names, just not what I want. It's hard since I am living with my parents so they are always around. Mostly it's just my mom, grandma and MIL that keep giving me suggestions. I did tell them that I most likely will have 3 or 4 names that I like and will have in mind and choose one after baby is born when I figure out what I think fits him best. That way at least they can't try to force me to pick one now, ha.

willow I was so annoyed that my cousin got on Facebook right before we got pregnant and was like "I just found out that great grandma's middle name was Devona, whoever has the next girl should use that!" I wanted to be like "bitch that's been my middle name choice for years while we've been struggling" I was so worried someone in my very fertile family would beat me to it or she would take credit for "finding" it for me. Thankfully no one has said anything when we announced the names.

+1 to this!! We had our names picked out ages ago and whenever anyone asks, we say we have one but it is a secret. This prevents both annoying suggestions or disapproval or opinions.
We plan to have everyone know by Friday what sex we are having and name. No one has ever mentioned this name and it has never been used in either family. Middle name is from DH's grandfather. I hate to say it, I want it out there just in case DH's cousin decides to pull any bitch moves since she is 17/18ish....

The name suggestions! DH's grandma knows we haven't decided on a girls name so she has been heavily suggesting names. I stupidly acted interested in her opinion at first. So far she is really pushing "Misty Dawn." My H informed me it was also the name of her favorite dog ever. Oh, Grandma. No.

1. How many weeks are you? 21 weeks, 2 days
2. Symptoms? I had heartburn for the first time last night and it kept me up.
3. Upcoming appts? Not until April 1.
4. Rants/raves? I have an anterior placenta and don't know if what I'm feeling is baby. Hopefully I'll start to feel obvious movement the next few weeks.
5. Gtky: Any Easter plans? None since we aren't religious. We don't celebrate, but may do egg hunts and stuff when little man is old enough.

I just started feeling movement (so far only at night) over the weekend. So 21w5d. I bet you will feel more soon!

I had a girl named Windy in my grade. Not Wendy, Windy. I think of her when I hear Misty.
DS wanted to name our chameleon Windy because it was windy outside. Lol. I also know a Sien.na Sunshin.e.
Yikes to both of those! I know a Rainbow Dawn. She is probably in high school by now, but I remember laughing when someone said her full name (I was young, so I couldn't help it!).

We are doing this as well. With our first, we had different lists going, but just kept telling people that we didn't have a list but were open to suggestions (because really, we were at a total loss). We never told anyone what was on our lists though, and waited until DD was born before we picked a name and announced it. Most of the names suggested to us, really weren't our style at all, so I had to try not to cringe when I heard some of them. But people always like to offer up suggestions, so I felt like it was a good way for them to feel like they got to voice their name opinion, without harping on our choices. Now we have a slightly different problem this time around, as now everyone knows our naming style. At first I was doing the same thing (saying we didn't have a list yet), and people would start suggesting. The issue, is now they are actually suggesting names that are more of our naming style, or getting close to the names of the family members that we want to honor. My family is the type to try and take credit, even if we already had the name picked out. So lately I have been avoiding the name topic, and if it comes up, say that we already have a name picked out and everyone will hear it when the baby is born. Really, we are down to like 3 girl names, and 3 boy names....so we aren't that far off (but want to see baby first). And it seems that they have stopped offering up suggestions once they hear that we already have enough names.
2. Symptoms? Aversion to chicken, reflux, exhausted
3. Upcoming appts? Today with a midwife I haven't met yet. So far I've met three and only liked one
4. Rants/raves? Not pregnancy related, but DS has been consistently STTN for about two weeks. This is huge. He's 2 and never done this. He sleeps from 7-6:30. It's probably one of the biggest reasons I'm terrified to have another baby. I can't do another two years of no sleep
5. Gtky: Any Easter plans? Just going to my parents, who are local. We have a polish Easter and the food is banging!

I had a huge aversion of chicken with ds! It took a long time after I delivered to eat it again. Haha
1. How many weeks are you? 21w5d - People keep referring to V-day, anyone care to enlighten me on what that is referring to?(I am assuming something but you know what they say when you assume)
2. Symptoms? Hip pain at night, starting to get out of breath when walking
3. Upcoming appts? Next appt is not until 3/21
4. Rants/raves? Each day at work, I am done and just want to go home at about 2. Do I have work I need to be doing - yes. Do I want to - no. We also finally settled on a daycare and got our name on the waiting list. Fingers crossed in May we get the call that we are in.
5. Gtky: Any Easter plans? DH and I aren't big on religion but my family puts together a big Easter dinner and egg hunt for the kids. We may go up depending on how we are feeling since it is 2.5 hours away and we would just go for the day.

jenn83, V-day is when you hit 24 weeks. This is viability day. Basically if a baby is born at 24 weeks+, the chance of survival increases greatly. It would be far from ideal, but it would be the earliest a baby would be delivered with hope for survival.
I may or may not have explained that well so anyone else can feel free to chime in.

mrss44 I've been using a support belt and tons of stool softener for back pain and constipation.
And as far as the sex drive, it could be worse, you could have my problem which is that I'm horny all the time but the doc has me on pelvic rest. *sigh*
mrss44 I haven't had ANY sex drive either, I feel bad for my H I'm glad he's very understanding of all I'm going through and doesn't push the issue.
housecarder yep, that would be a lot worse for me! Are you on pelvic rest for the remainder of your pregnancy?!
No just until my placenta moves away from my cervix. At my last ultrasound my OB said it's getting farther away but to stay on rest as a precaution. The MFM doc said it was probably overkill but wouldn't tell me to go against her orders. So hopefully next week they'll lift it.
