My toddler spent the weekend being a tiny terrorist. I think work will be more relaxing than yesterday was. I spent so much time chasing him and I am so sore today.
But I have a guacamole to go with my lunch, so, there's that to look forward to.
I've been MIA. My kids first birthday party was yesterday. I don't know what happened. It's like I blinked and now she's a real person. I'll just be over here trying to get through the day without drinking.
It's my anniversary today. I surprised DH with chocolate wine truffles from Oregon!!!! He surprised me with a figure he designed called SereniBee (Think Firefly Serenity & Transformers Bumblebee face with Jane's hat on one of the changeable heads!)

Mmmm I could go for some guacamole!
Looks like we're getting some warmer weather this week- I need clothes! Trying to decide if I should bust it to the mall this evening. Sucks that there are no maternity stores in the town where I work. Or live.
I saw my doctor this morning about my horrible pelvic pain. The good news is she doesn't think its pre-term labor, the bad news is she doesn't know what it is. So I am chillin at L&D. I am super glad to be here instead of ER since they usually are strict about not seeing anyone before 20 weeks and I am 2 days away.

I spent all weekend doing things around the house, and the house still looks trashed. My husband is a total hoarder and won't let me get rid of anything. He leaves for a business trip in April, and I have already started a donations pile in the garage of things that haven't been used in two decades. My friend is storing two piece of furniture here, and he freaks out about the space it is taking. Yet he fails to acknowledge the fact that his crap is taking up our two car garage, our shop, our rental garage, etc. He even wants to save a vacuum we have (we have FIVE vacuums!) for sentimental reasons! WTF?!

Does it feel sore, like someone took a baseball bat to your pelvis the day before, and your pelvis is sore 24/7?
ETA: Nevermind! Saw your post on the check-in, and commented on that one!

Still sitting here training for my new position... It looks like I will be training for several more weeks.
DS had a really weird weekend and was in a mood. I had lost my voice and was feeling like crap so poor H had to deal with both of us. Hopefully I can get

Yesterday it was excruciating pain when I walked or moved it any way. It never goes away but it better if I lay down. This morning it is not as bad.
However, I am also contracting every 3-4 minutes (I knew it, they didn't ask about that so I'm so glad I spoke up) so I am getting a fluid bolus and hoping that makes them go away. That was really scary to hear.
Random question... anyone who has had an anterior placenta in a previous pregnancy... Was your SO ever able to feel kicks from the outside? Do you remember how far along you were when they could? DH is so looking forward to being able to feel but we haven't had any luck yet.

I had an AP last pregnancy and H felt an outside kick exactly once. It was pretty far along, maybe 35 weeks?

Boooo. That was sort of what I expected. Thank you!
I found these at these store recently. Everyone should have them.
Ummm... which grocery store do you go to?!
Wegmans!!
And for your other question: I have an AP this time around and my H is able to feel some kicks already. I didn't last time, and I think my H wasn't able to see/feel anything until my late 20 weeks. Give it some time!!

Cliffhanger!!
Lol, I totally forgot to finish my thought. I was saying hopefully I can get totally better this week!

I'm really annoyed with H. He caught the cold I had last week. When I had it I continued my 8 day work stretch of 12 hour shifts and on my first day off took DS to the doctor, went grocery shopping, caught up on all the housework he had skipped, and then found out I had bronchitis.
This morning he calls in because his throat hurts. Fine, you have the leave and want to use it, knock yourself out, but I have to sleep for work tonight. Cue DS saying he doesn't want to go to school because he doesn't feel good and H looks at me and says "What do you want me to do?" My response was "That's your call, I have to sleep. So either take him to school, because he says this every morning, or keep him home with you."
So H starts going off about how he's sick and it's unfair and what if he hadn't called in today. Umm, he'd still be going to school. He's not sick and you aren't dying. But I have to sleep if I want to function at work tonight and I'm still fighting bronchitis on top of being pregnant.
housecarder ugg men can be such babies when their sick. Were you able to sleep?
Yeah, he took DS to daycare and laid on the couch so I holed myself in my room. When I woke up he at least apologized and said "Being this sick gives me a new found respect for how you must have been feeling lately".

They only become more and more person like! DD will be 2 in May and she looks so little and babyish in 1 year pics. She walks, talks, and has opinions on everything. At this moment I'm trapped on a play structure because every time I try to get down she says, Mama up! And starts to stamp her feet and cry.

I'm jealous of those of you who feel outside kicks. I can feel them inside but I try and feel from the outside and nothing. I can't remember which week DH could feel them last time but it was in the 20s. I cannot wait for DD to feel her sister/brother.
We just got home from a long weekend visiting my mom and my sister and her kids. I'm so exhausted. My nephew is a tornado and I've been in a hotel room three nights and I'm pooped. I had so much fun but I need to REST.
