What fruit/cute animal/weird item are you packing this week? Cucumber
Any fun symptoms going on? Really bad acid reflux, exhaustion, but otherwise I feel fine
Any appointments this week? Nope. I have my glucose test in 2 weeks
Rants/Raves/Random thoughts? Nada
GTKY: How prepared are you for baby/babies? Any fun projects you are working on? I guess I'm prepared since we have everything from DS. I feel like I'm forgetting things though. DH and I keep asking each other what babies need and we can't come up with an answer. We need to wash the pack n play, car seat, and padding for bouncer and swing. There are a few things we need to buy, but not too much.
She seems to have completely FORGOTTEN that I was almost 42 weeks when I had DD. I just can't deal with her complaints. Especially when her induction is already scheduled for 40 weeks.
So take this as a warning. Babies come when they're ready (for the most part). I know it's hard and exhausting and draining. But especially when you haven't hit the big 4-0, I am not a huge resource for sympathy for you.
I was induced at 41w5d and labored for three days. Do you want me to come kick her in the shins? Because I will. I have zero tolerance for that nonsense.
I feel ya, ladies. I went to 42 weeks with TWO pregnancies. I really hope I don't go to 42 weeks with this little guy, but I know it just might happen again. I have very little tolerance with women complaining about not having their baby before their due date. I just can't.
Love the picture. Just add in a 2 and 4 year old, who don't always sleep through the night and a snoring husband. Sigh.
How far along are you? 27 weeks 3 days.
What fruit/cute animal/weird item are you packing this week? Ovia says a camping lantern.
Any fun symptoms going on? The usual insomnia, I had a migraine last Friday and that sucked, I have a bit of swelling in my hands, and feeling large and uncomfortable. I'm officially waddling. Yay. Also, extreme exhaustion. The insomnia is probably contributing a lot to that.
Any appointments this week? I'm hoping to do my glucose test on Friday as long as my mom can babysit. I just want to get it over with.
Rants/Raves/Random thoughts? I hate feeling so uncomfortable and blah. I'm looking forward to when the baby is born.
GTKY: How prepared are you for baby/babies? Any fun projects you are working on? We just need to get a car seat, which we will hopefully be getting next week. Other than that, we don't need anything major. We are good for clothes, we have all of DS1's old clothes and my sister is giving me some of my nephew's clothes. I have two nursing pillows, a swing, pnp, getting a bouncy chair from my sister and cloth diapers as well. I just need to wash everything and get rid of DD's old clothes. I'm procrastinating on that because I know I will be emotional.

I feel like you need some kind of award for this! I truly can't imagine going to 42 weeks twice! I hope this one comes on time for you!
Speaking of late arrivals, DH's nephew is graduating from high school 7 days after my due date, and DH told me last night that my ILs are all hoping that I deliver after the graduation so that I can attend! I told him that I think our nephew will be fine without me in attendance, and I would prefer not to deliver 1-2 weeks late. Who wishes that on someone?! Granted I hope I don't deliver on his actual graduation date so that DH can attend. However, I'm not hoping to go past 41 weeks just to attend his graduation.

It's also kind of sucky to want/expect a full term pregnant lady to sit through a graduation ceremony. Those are hot and long.
And you'd be FULL TERM.
(Also, my aunts/uncles never came to my grad. Parents and my grandparents and siblings.)
cattuccino I can't handle people who do not understand what an EDD is. It is an ESTIMATE. Only like 3% come on their actual EDD that means some come before the EDD and some come after. That doesn't mean they are early or late that means they came out when they were ready
What fruit/cute animal/weird item are you packing this week? Not sure about the length, but baby A is 1lb 10oz and baby B is 1lb 8oz!
Any fun symptoms going on? Killer heartburn, and some muscle pains around the stomach, but nothing too bad. I can see the path to having to slow down in the next few months.
Any appointments this week? Had one today, all is well and babies are growing right on track!
Rants/Raves/Random thoughts? Nope, just happy they are healthy in there!
GTKY: How prepared are you for baby/babies? Any fun projects you are working on? I was up really late last night sewing a crib skirt, one down, one more to go! I'm having fun decorating the nursery, it'll be really exciting when it's all done, but it's nice to have time to complete it and not feel rushed (and for those of you who haven't started, I was team green with my other two and did most of the nursery decorating after the baby was born.. so you have plenty of time!). I'm feeling really prepared, we have all the basics we need. I cannot wait to meet these little ones (but, please stay inside another 14 weeks!).

My love tits are not working, but I love reading these!!
How far along are you? 25w So close to third tri I can almost taste it!!
What fruit/cute animal/weird item are you packing this week? Acorn squash!
Any fun symptoms going on? Vomiting went away for a bit, but is now totally back. Yuck. Eating constantly to keep it away, but luckily I stomach healthy foods. I can't eat a lot of sugar or I get SO sick, and Braxton Hicks like a mofo (at least I think, I never had them with my first, but it sucks)
Any appointments this week? No but I have my glucose to look forward to next week. Super.
Rants/Raves/Random thoughts? I keep seeing babies at daycare drop off and pick up and I'm like, "I want a baby!.. Oh yeah..." I can't wait for him to get here!!
GTKY: How prepared are you for baby/babies? Any fun projects you are working on? We are house hunting, so we are not prepared at all! We have a car seat, some clothes, and some other random things, but at this time with my first, I had nearly everything big that we needed. We are waiting because we have to move regardless, we are in a very small 2 bedroom condo that's a rental, and our lease is up at the end of May. I am hoping we can close on something early to mid-May at the latest to be able to get everything ready and moved over before the baby comes. I am starting to be super stressed about it.
origamimommy you and I are on the same moving schedule! Our lease is done June 1, baby due June 7. I feel your stress!!!
ITS THE WORST!!!
We've resigned ourselves slightly to the possibility that we'll have to renew our rental lease. That means having a newborn in a tiny 4th floor walk-up apartment while sharing a washer/drier with 2 other families. It's not ideal, but the real estate market here is absolutely insane. If we buy a house then I don't want to settle.

frecklesnbrains we're actually getting there. The market is so slow here and our budget is lower because of 2 kids in daycare. Of we don't find our ideal, we'll wait until next year when DS1 starts kindergarten (waaahhhh) and we'll have more in our budget. I don't want to do that and I'm really hoping we find one and lock it down before baby, but we have found a larger rental just in case.
How far along are you? 25+5 What fruit/cute animal/weird item are you packing this week? Prairie Dog
Any fun symptoms going on? Getting full really quickly, some reflux. Nothing too bad. I am definitely doing the circle at night manybellsdown described though! Stuffed nose--> mouth breathing--> thirsty--> drinking all the water--> getting up to pee--> lack of sleep.
Any appointments this week? Saw the Dr. last week and it was a really quick appt. Baby's heartbeat sounds good. She did my fundal measure for the first time and didn't say what it was, so I assume it was within normal. I have to go in a couple weeks to do my GD test, not super excited about that.
Rants/Raves/Random thoughts? I'm so easily annoyed lately. I've been keeping a handle on it, mostly, but it is exhausting to be pissed off for so much of my day. DH is finding my constant road-ragey commentary when driving entertaining at least.
GTKY: How prepared are you for baby/babies? Any fun projects you are working on? Agh. I know I have plenty of time, but I'm definitely letting myself freak out about it. We need to replace the carpet with new flooring and paint. I guess we'll see how much furniture we need to buy after my showers. We have nothing right now, except an amazing amount of clothing because my family (mostly my mom) went a little crazy. This baby is already fully kitted out clothing-wise.

This is such a perfect way to explain the feeling, I can't take it!
Also, so sorry you have the stuffy nose/mouth breathing crap going for you, too.
I need to get my glucose labs drawn tomorrow, but other than that no appts til the end of the month
I'm exhausted all the time, Get lightening crotch occasionally, and have had stomach issues over the past few days. Poor DH. I'm sure I'm a delight to sit next to.
Oh, and at this point I've bought one newborn diaper for DD2. So I'm definitely on top of things. Seeing as we move two to three weeks before she comes, there's not a whole lot we can do right this second.
What fruit/cute animal/weird item are you packing this week? Atlantic puffin
Any fun symptoms going on? OMG my ankles are starting to swell. (I didn't think this would actually happen to me.) Also it hurts to sit in my office chair by the end of the day. Sore muscles and joints. And I get hangry.
Any appointments this week? Not until the end of the month
Rants/Raves/Random thoughts? I'm getting annoyed at random people saying I'm "so big" for only 5 months pregnant. I think I need to start saying 6 months now, even though I think its still 5(?) Month math is hard and hurts my brain. ie I need an app that tells me the months cuz I'm clueless.
GTKY: How prepared are you for baby/babies? Any fun projects you are working on? Fairly prepared. We have gone through and washed all the hand me down clothes. We have ~70 size 3 onsies. Also tonight we cleared out our expedit ikea shelf so it's free for baby gear/toys/books.
GOmamab15 I always count backwards by months from my due date to figure out approximately how many months I am. Otherwise, I have to sit and ponder that question for way too long!
What fruit/cute animal/weird item are you packing this week? Eggplant
Any fun symptoms going on? Heartburn/reflux, sciatic pain, hemorrhoids.
Any appointments this week? Nope
Rants/Raves/Random thoughts? Nope
GTKY: How prepared are you for baby/babies? Any fun projects you are working on? I'm feeling pretty good about being ready...with this being number 3 I have everything I need. I've gotten the big girls in a room together and taken out all the non baby stuff from the nursery. I'm leaving the double bed on there until baby is a couple months old, then I will put the crib up. Right now I'm nesting...cleaning and organizing. I've got a couple painting projects I'd like to do and make some freezer meals.

Counting back is still too hard for me. I get hung up every time on "is it 9 months, or 10 months ... I think 9 1/2...." I just found this. www.baby2see.com/pregnancylength.html

How far along are you? 26w6d
What fruit/cute animal/weird item are you packing this week? No idea. I looked Saturday but I'm too lazy to check again.
Any fun symptoms going on? Sore and starting to get full easily. I gained almost no weight in the 3rd trimester last time because I was eating mini meals and had acid reflux too. Looks like not finishing my meals is a thing for me in later pregnancy.
Any appointments this week? No, although I need to go to the lab for my glucose test sometime in the next week.
Rants/Raves/Random thoughts?
GTKY: How prepared are you for baby/babies? Any fun projects you are working on? We emptied the new nursery and bought paint. I'm almost done prepping the walls for painting so maybe we'll start that next week? We need to toddler proof DS's room so we can transition him to a twin mattress soon and free up our crib. We actually bought the mattress already, I'm just dragging my feet on the precursors to the actual transition.
What fruit/cute animal/weird item are you packing this week? Bunch of bananas
Any fun symptoms going on? Sore. Saw my chiropractor again today. He says I need girdle.
Any appointments this week? Glucose test on Monday.
GTKY: How prepared are you for baby/babies? Any fun projects you are working on? I'm feeling like we've made really good progress. Ordered replacement fabric for car seats, found a used double bob attachment, I ordered a few new outfits for her, assembled the crib and organized the closet. (It's still semi storage, semi baby closet). Oh! The rocker was delivered today. I'm hoping DH will assemble ASAP.
The nursery is coming along and I just love it. The rocker came in today and i hope to get it assembled soon. A snapped a few Picts tonight. (Painting will be hung on the wall, over the crib)
And things I need to figure out where to hang (in addition to the round shelf that's on the floor next to the window) My favorite is the watercolor that I framed. DD1 decided all on her own that her baby sister needed a painting from her big sister. Love.
