Shriners Hospitals for Children Twin Cities! There are multiple Shriners locations across the country but I can help coordinate at the Twin Cities location. We serve a lot of families that may not get care otherwise because we don't charge for visits or surgeries. We take insurance if a patient has it, but if not we don't turn them away. It's pretty awesome
quoting myself to say that a huge difference between Shriners and other hospitals is that Shriners is not for profit. They treat kids regardless of ability to pay. That said, because they don't make tons of money off of people or insurance, they can use all the donations they can get.
Riley Children's Hospital here in Indianapolis is fabulous and did so much to save my brother's life and house my family during treatment. I'd be willing to receive and deliver all the donations to Riley.

Seconding the nomination for Riley's. It's also near and dear to my heart as a former Hoosier.

I nominate Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The CHaD is our home away from home with Levi's care. We are there at least every other week for all of his needs and I know how much they could use the help. I would definitely be willing to accept the packages and bring them up.

I second this. My grandma was a patient multiple times at this hospital when she was a little girl because she had tuberculosis. She grew up on a farm, so I'm sure there was no way her family could afford anything else.
I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for their care.
+3 ...my sister has Spina Bifida and we spent a lot of time here when we were kids so she could get the necessary surgeries and treatments.

Glad to see some Canadian hospitals on the list. Could be some good publicity to grab more canadian ladies to the site in addition to helping out an awesome hospital!!
I'd like to nominate the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU. They serve a very diverse patient population. I've been a patient there since I was 10 (my cardiologist is there).
I can store items in our guest room (no pets allowed in there) and since I work at the main hospital, I can easily deliver them there too.

Our home is smoke free. We do have pet free rooms---we have cats and they are not allowed in the upstairs of our house (baby gate). With that said, I nominate Children's Hospital of Philadelphia---particularly the satellite portion of the clinic in Voorhees. Reese's amazing team in there and all the doctors and nurses and child life there are amazing.
Reese actually called her child life specialist mom the other day.
I'm adding yet another +1 for CHOP, also particularly the satellite in Voorhees. I am in the area and can help as well if needed. We've got a truck!
I nominate Valley Children's Hospital in Madera,CA.
They are the only children's hospital in the central valley and serve so many families. My mom worked there during my childhood so I know a lot about the facility.
Their NICU is amazing. They have almost 100 beds. My brother was cared for there many years ago and it it near anddear to my heart.
NariaDreaming I'm sure this has been thought of and maybe it was done on past items? To further spread the word of TCF labels/sticker/tags of some sort could be made and applied to the gifts.
There's a local book program, at every well child check, my peds office gives us a book. It has an address label stuck on the back that says "This book was made possible by The City-Name Books for Kids Program"

In the past we haven't because the gifts have gone straight to the recipient organization via Amazon.
But it was already in my mind for this one since an intermediary will be delivering them

Phoenix Children's Hospital My nephew was born with Transposition of the Great Arteries of the heart and was air evac'ed there from Lake Havasu as a blue baby. The blood from the body was going back to the body and the blood going to the lungs for oxygen was going back to the lungs.
They did a new in the US at the time surgery to put the arteries into their correct location on the heart. In newborns the heart is about the size of a walnut and they did this miraculous surgery on it!
It's now almost 30 years later and nephew is all grown up, but Phoenix children's hospital still has these miracle working doctors on staff. They are a great hospital!
I'll also add, we have an awesome active Cincy local board here on TCF. My LO has thankfully only been to Cinci Children's one time, but he was not even 3 months old, and I was a wreck and they were fantastic.

I really do need to come hang with you ladies. Perhaps we should find a mom expo near you for Theo and I to do. I'm all about TCF travel

I'd like to put out a nomination for Doernbecher Children's Hospital. I have a cat, but I can either find somewhere else to hold stuff or keep her away from it.
I can receive gifts for Doernbecher (pet and smoke free here) and it would be an honor to nominate them. They cared for friends of ours when their 4 year old son became an organ donor. They were amazing in what can only be described as an horrific time. I am acquainted with their child life specialists and work at the adjoining adult hospital so parking and coordinating would be easy for me.
