WTF people...I gave the universe one child, why are you already demanding a second?
It's like...you date someone and they want to know when you're getting married, then you marry them and they want to know when the house is coming. Then you get the house and they want to know when the babies will be here. Then you have a baby and they want more! People are insatiable. I had 3 different people ask me yesterday when I'll be giving Madelein a sibling...I just chuckled it off and said maybe someday, mostly because we aren't totally "out" as OAD (more because we aren't "out" about Maddy's disease yet so it's just more explaining than I'm ready to do right now.)
Yep, this is probably why we are boring in the eyes of our families. No announcements or anything lately. We got it all.

Wtf self from the other day. I was so out of it/not using my brain from being sluggish & sick, I knocked my Chromebook off the arm rest of the couch. It was a really light fall & not far at all but what an idiot. I'm not destined to have anything representative of a laptop. My first laptop I had forever I killed by balancing it on something on our kitchen counter. That didn't work as it obviously fell. Then the newer one I got like 3 years ago, I fell down the last two steps coming down into our family room & it flew out of my hands. They both had screen damage. Luckily this was not as dramatic & the thing is so light so hopefully I continue to have no problems with it. I'm an idiot though. This is why we can't have nice things, @namastebiotches!! -_-
WTF coworker! If you are going to eat tuna salad for breakfast while I drink my coffee, please wash out your dish when done! The whole damn place smells like tuna and has since 9 freaking a.m. And I need more coffee for this crap.

eta spelling stinks.
Ew. No fish in the office-- tuna or otherwise-- should be allowed.

Right?! And especially not first thing in the morning...ewwwww.
@misspeansmama All of his 24 month pants are Baby Gap and have the adjustable waist. Still too big right now!
Oh yikes! I don't have much experience with Baby Gap sizing. We go with Jumping Beans pants with the adjustable waist from Kohls. They are the one brand that consistently fits DD. Most other brands are too short and wide. Shopping for her so so frustrating!
Hmm maybe I should try Kohls. He does well with Carter's as far as the waist goes. Baby Gap does run a bit big. He can still fit into some of his 12-18 month pants from there lol. It can definitely be frustrating find the right brands/sizes!
Wtf again in laws you brought my kid home an hour late tired and miserable. Maybe had she been home when she should have been she could have taken her nap on time. Uggg so annoyed and at this rate I won't get to take her outside to play even tho its the only day its in the 30s not the single digets all week.
@ladysansa Do we have the same husband? EVERY WEEK when I do the shopping list, I ask what he needs or wants from the store. He always says "nothing" or "whatever you want to get is fine." So you know, I take him at his word! Then he is always out of something or there's some meal/snack he really wanted but didn't fucking speak up about and is pouty because I didn't read his mind.
My husband does the exact same thing. It drives me nuts!
Ok, now I'm convinced it has something to do with that Y chromosome.
It sounds like they're totally from the same mold lol! That drives me BATTY. He'll also pull the "let me tell you what I need 5 days in advance from when you're going to the store and not say anything again until you get home from the store" bit. I always tell him to remind me when I'm making my list or right before I go, and he almost never does. ::headdesk::
UGH!!! Annoying! I leave a pad and pen on the fridge so we can write in stuff we want/need throughout the week. The only thing he ever puts on is RC Cola. Men.
At least it's a good cola that he's adding? Coke would also be an acceptable option.
I hear you, though. I used to do a list like that, and gave up because he would pull the same shit: write 1 thing on there, and it's not even a necessity.

Word. Cold/room temp fish is bad enough, but when it's reheated? OMG. I love fish, but damn.

My LO is built similarly. He could wear his 18m shorts right now if weather permitted, but his 3T pants are starting to get near the end of looking okay for length (okay for standing, but seeing ankles when he is sitting or being carried). Unless he levels off for a bit, he will be in 4T pants before the end of this winter. He has a pair of Oshkosh pants that are long and slim that fit him perfectly when he was in the 2T length - they didn't even have an adjustable waist, just a fake drawstring that only tightened them a little (he had other Oshkosh pants that were a bit wider, so you have to watch the cuts). He also has had good luck with slim cuts in Old Navy and Wrangler jeans (both brands he has to have the adjustable waist tightened significantly, but they stay on and don't look baggy in the legs). I have heard 2T tends to run slimmer than 24m but have a similar length; each brand varies so much though that it doesn't hold true in all cases, but it may be worth a try in brands that carry both sizes (some don't have a 24m size).
PSA for all of you with lame-o husband's that forget to ask for what they need at the store. Download the Our Groceries App onto both your phones. It will change your life.

cam Thanks for all of the suggestions! I haven't tried many different brands because Carter's and Baby Gap worked well for a long time but he's starting to get long legs like his dad so I'm going to have to try some other places

I have sooo many people ask me all the time too (we also haven't shared our status nor the risks we face in a second pregnancy either, though we always said 1 kid and MAYBE a 2nd). I don't get it. First of all, it is obviously nosey and inappropriate in any situation, but MH freaking lives hours away plus our odds of twins is above average (which most people asking me about #2 know). In what universe does that sound like a great time to TTC, especially considering I was on bedrest at 20 weeks last time around?!? My mom (who does actually know LO has SNs) bought a "little sister" shirt this past fall for the baby I am not and likely will never be pregnant with (plus the obvious fact that even if I was/will be pregnant, the baby only has a 50% chance of fitting the "sister" title). She stuck it in with some clothes she bought for the LO who actually does exist.

The shirt thing would grind my gears. Luckily my mom knows and understands but surprisingly my sister who wants ZERO kids and does not "believe" in marriage is the one who harps on us constantly how "weird" our only will be. Like apparently if you have one, you have to have at least two? Trust me, I treasure hers and my relationship (we are 23mos apart and she is my best friend) but I also have an older sister I don't care for so it's a 50/50 shot my hypothetical second would even get along with M. Ugh, people.

Yessss, in our house it's RC, Coke, whatever generic brand, THEN Pepsi. Pepsi is so gross and sweet. Though Cherry Pepsi is the bomb.com
He just woke up, went in our fridge and whined, "there's nothing to eat!" We have salad, cole slaw, hot dogs, sandwich makings, soup and leftover stroganoff. WTF does this man want from meeee.
WTF driver who rear ended me? It's not like it never snows here. Surely you know how to drive in this shit.
Sorry you got in an accident! That sucks. People here (MA) drive like idiots in the snow still trying to speed when roads are slick and icy. I'm always worried about getting hit!

The shirt may have bothered me coming from someone else, but my mom actually doesn't really ask or hint about a second kid very much at all. I thought the shirt was a mistake at first because it was so out of character. I thought it was for my niece who she had also bought clothes for at the same time (not that my niece is a sister, but if something is dirt cheap, my mom would buy it for at-home wearing type of thing). I think my new niece plus knowing that she likely won't be as close to any kids my one brother has as she is to mine and seeing the shirt for a good deal gave her a moment of baby-fever insanity.
My youngest sibling by quite an age gap is actually one of my pushier people, but I brush it off as her youngness causing her to not realize it is rude. The other people who are also on the pushier/ask-often end of the scale are almost all people who do not have kids or have grown kids and crave a baby fix.
