We have Girl Scout cookies in our house for the first time in years. Like I really can't remember the last time I bought any. My favorites are the Caramel Delites/Samoas and I absolutely refuse to share any with Riley. I only have two boxes and I swear I will come up with any reason not to share them. In fact, I think they will "disappear" after she goes to bed tonight.

We plowed through our thin mints and I'm actually still a little mad at H for eating so many of them when they were one of the foods that I wanted to eat after my first chemo.
In all fairness I had told him not to by any at all so if he listened to me I wouldn't have had any!
summergirl1211 - I also love the samoas and bought myself a box this year. Kayleigh saw the box and asked me what they were. I simply told her "oh, you won't like those". She simply took my word for it Of course, she also questioned the box of thin mints I bought H. I told her they were cookies, which H got upset about since I wouldn't share my cookies with her, but essentially offer her his.
This is actually more of a UO: I'm kind of annoyed by the whole TLC Jessa and Jill Duggar show. The show is almost identical to 19 kids and counting. They're still interviewing and following all the family, not just Jessa and Jill, even though it is more centered on them (which the last couple of seasons 19 kids and counting was already doing). Essentially, they got away from the whole backlash with the Josh stuff simply by changing the name.

roo1582, it's funny because i put all of the boxes on the counter and she immediately asked about the purple ones (my cookies). We've been giving her the peanut butter patties and might share a few thin mints but girlfriend isn't getting any of mine!
They are so expensive now! I'd rather buy those chewy Chips Ahoy and get 2 packages.
FC: Tuesday's we play darts and each team member has to contribute $$ to get the board to work. I noticed the board already had extra credits in it so I only put in enough to get us close to what we needed. So basically I pocketed $3 from my team members. I would have been more hassle to get quarters to divy it up.
Also, when I bought a combo pack bra a few weeks ago I didn't like the colors that they had put together. So I moved 2 packs around and got the 2 colors I wanted.
roo1582, I agree. And I think they just aren't showing the parents, but I could be wrong. I will guiltily watch it, but it's still sad that they find ways around it.

I probably would have hidden all of them! Those things are dangerous.

I'm finding myself wanting to stoop down to Tumaini's level lately. She's into this phase where the slightest little thing will make her decide "you're not my friend anymore", or "I don't love you anymore", or "I don't want to be with you anymore". Yesterday, she yelled loudly and rudely for me to come wipe her bum after she pooped. I went, but told her to ask more politely next time. She got upset, and was all "I don't want you to be here anymore!"
In my head, my reply was "Fine, bitch, wipe you own damn ass. I don't want to be here either."
I didn't. But oh, I wanted to. I need some rest and time away from my kids...

barefoot84 I am dying laughing at your response because so many times I want to respond to Tyler that way, but instead I just laugh and walk away. They are such assholes right now!
I have a real FC this week.
H and I have not been getting along this week. Tyler has been a total jerk and we know it's because he needs our attention but it has still made everyone in the house pissy, moody, etc. It's just been a rough week. Anyway, we have two birthday parties tomorrow. One is our friend's sons birthday party (Tyler is besties with their daughter and we adore them). The other is Tyler's friend from his other daycare. Both have texted me today saying, "We can't wait to see you tomorrow!" and I confirmed that yes, we would be seeing them tomorrow.
Ok...don't judge me too harshly... But we are not going to either one. Neither is at a place where you pay per person, and both were supposed to be outside but the weather is not supposed to be great. I am totally excusing us from the parties and we are going to have a family only day. We are taking Tyler to see Zootopia, taking him for ice cream afterwards, and doing a little shopping. We really need it for our sanity just to spend time together. I asked a few other friends and they were all like, "You're pregnant! Do what you want! Don't go!" But I still feel really badly. I got them both a gift already and plan to deliver the gifts, but we need a relaxing family day. And if either were at a party place where you pay per person, I would not do this.
Hugs barefoot84 . Are you able to sneak away for a little bit? Even just an hour or two to shop or get coffee or something in peace?
I'm going to Florida to visit my parents next Thursday!!!! I am so so excited about this. We're staying for six days, and they'll mostly take care of the kids while I do whatever I want and drink!!!! It's going to be marvelous. I seriously need it, I'm exhausted.

My fc: if I feel good enough Sunday I think I'm going to the St Patrick's day by my house to get out even though I'm using a day of leave. I don't expect to feel good enough to work the full day but I'm so nervous that I'll be discovered out.
My niece is a Girl Scout. I got A bunch of cookies. I'm allergic to nuts so I only can get the thin mints and trefoils. I miss those tagalongs!
I'm not allergic and those are my go to cookies.
I am keeping the thin mints in the freezer where Henry cannot see or get to...I eat them after the kids go to bed, and its the only reason we have any left.

I didn't get any Girl Scout cookies this year. I never saw any selling them. I was a Girl Scout for 9 years all the way through high school.
FC: when I do see GS selling cookies, I try to buy from older girls because I remember how much harder it was to sell because weren't as cute as the little girls.

I will buy girl scout cookies from every single person who asks me. The more the merrier. I will pretty much buy everything from any child/ high schooled who comes to my house.

And that's how bantyrooster got into soft drugs...
barefoot84 Joey pulls that shit too. She says "your not being my best friend" to which I've started replying "well I'm not going to be your best friend all the time, I'm your mommy." So now she's started saying " your not being my mommy!" (As in your not being nice, and I won't let you be my mommy right now).
I did that last year in the hospital, they had little cups of ice cream on the unit, and it was the closest to a blizzard I could get! Love my grandpa for sending a box with my mom to give me!
1) I bought a pair of LLR leggings last night because I knew they were a new print and that they'd be super popular. I'm only meh on them and tempted to flip...
2) Sometimes I read MH's email. He leaves it open on the computer all the time. There's never anything interesting in there.

What is the print? Let's see it.
Not the best shot but here you go! They're white cats.
