finnaroo my last AF was 2.5 weeks late. I peed on all things!
kellykinns It's really hard to make and keep friends. My best friends are still my friends from high school that live an hour and a half away. We have tried making friends locally and nothing has really stuck.
I have 2 big projects to turn in at work today. I really like it when the pressure is on and I have a lot to do. DH and I have seriously been considering splitting our property and building lately. I just talked to the builder and it's looking like $325K for what we want plus the $150K we already have in to the property. I'm starting to think building isn't a good choice anymore

@mx2 I would assume for the first few days she probably won't want to do too much anyway. Her throat will be scratchy and not feel too awesome. You might just have to do a lot of sit still activities....art projects, books reading, etc.

I had a 5-10 minute conversation with Cadence last night while she was in the tub. I was trying to convince her I was "Mama". I would point to myself and say, "Mama". She would then point to herself and say, "Mama" "No, I'm Mama. You are Cadence," and I would point at her. She would then look around to see what I was pointing at that was called a Cadence and then point to herself again and say, "Mama".

We have this conversation every day. Neither one of them know who mom or dad is, but they've been able to identify the cat for a long time and learned his name in a day.
We are on day 4 of sleeping on air mattresses and sharing two chairs between 4 adults. Our stuff is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to sitting on a couch.
My son can't identify me or his dad, but I ask him where his hat is and he says hat (his favorite word) and goes and grabs it and brings it to me. The only word he successfully uses correctly every time is hat! He can identify at least 6 of his books by name, all of his stuffed animals, and a majority of his toys (ie where's your helicopter!), but I ask him "where's mom" and he has no idea what I'm saying!

I just realized we lost the history of past posts for information on tb. Sadsies. I often fall into the thought that our daily is all of it, but all the questions and history was lost too, this just bummed me out a lot more than I would have expected. I gather many of you have already mourned for this.
kellykinns I tried to join a Mom's group on meetup. They rejected me, apparently because I work.
Jerks. you're awesome and they are missing out. I found one that I wanted to join but they are like 45 minute drive from me. all the ones around me don't fit my lifestyle. (Heavily religious is what I am trying to say and looking for like minded moms well that's not me)
Re: Identification... When looking at photos of me and DH, he will grab the picture frame and say "Dad! Dad! Dad!" and I'm like "And Mom! Look, it's Mom too! That's me! Mom! Mom (pointing at my picture) and Dad! (pointing at DH)" and he smiles and says, "Dad!"
wth...
Also I thought he was saying Mama very sweetly the other day and I got so excited and cuddled and kissed him... then he pushed me out of the way to make his way to a BANANA. He was saying "Nah-Nah" for banana.
Also, just thinking about this whole Bump fiasco from a lawyer's perspective....
XO is a public companies and has periodic reporting requirements with the SEC, all of which are public. I wonder what, if anything, they'll be required to disclose in connection with this. The filings include narrative regarding results of operations for the period in question...
I haven't requested my history to be deleted yet because I suck and haven't completed Layla's baby book yet. I shared all her milestones so far with you guys and I need to go back and check dates. As soon as I do that I'm done with them.
cgmb, yeah it's weird - I'm not deactivated but all my post history is gone. I wonder if they don't want to deactivate so they don't need to report "losing" members on their next quarterly SEC report.
Ava is a snotty mess. She hates getting snot sucked out. I'm always heaving getting it. Snot is my mortal enemy.
I'm sad about losing our board history. And Ava's birth story. If anyone can get it for me, I'll love you forever! I'd send boob pics, but I have no boobs.

I c/p your birth story and PM'd you. No boobs necessary!
I just got the notification. Thank you so so so very much! It means the world to me.
I'm stressing about c's surgery. So much. I have no idea how I am supposed to keep her from all physical activity for 14 days.....but her surgeon did say that they have a 100%,cure rate for her syndrome with the tonsillectomy.
That's great about the cure rate @mx2 and I hope those fourteen days don't end up being as daunting as they seem.
