ashlantic I just dropped it 10 days before we left for vacation. That was my "date" I had in mind. By that point my body was acclimated to one feeding and I *thought* it wouldn't be too bad dropping it... Not so much. It wasn't awful terrible, but it did really suck. I miss BFing but I do love having smaller boobs again!
megpie5, Hope you find that certificate soon. I never updated my passport after I got married, combo of too lazy and no need to. I dread the day LO needs one, oofta. kcrus, Hope your LO finds the angel side soon. babyw15, GL with your house hunt! We're also looking for a house with acreage. dashook, OMG CONGRATS!!!!! *celebrates* laceysbryan, Congrats on weaning. LO weaned early (Dec) when she got sick, damn norovirus. ashlantic, GL with the nap situation. I know the feeling all too well. ourcrazynavylife, Good luck with the house! That is awesome of your IL's to offer to help. bkmama0, I'm a morning person, but not 5am morning person. BabyStandish, That farm sounds fun! I should look for something like that around my area.
LO went down for an early nap this morning. She woke up at 2 am just screaming her little head off. DH usually takes care of the middle of the night stuff so it startled me at first. Then she decided 7:30 am was a good time to be up for the day. I've been MIA but lurking in the background when I can. DH was gone last week, home for the weekend, gone again this week for work. I spent the weekend with him. We didn't do anything interesting, just stayed here at the house and caught up on some shows we were behind on. It was nice, and relaxing. When LO wakes up, we'll head to the park. We've been hitting up different parks in the area for some variety. I was also thinking of going to the mall. I don't need to buy anything, I just want to see what it looks like now. It's been 10 years since I've been inside this mall, I'm wondering what has changed.
laceysbryan ahh smaller boobs sound amazing. I just recently ditched my ugly nursing bras started wearing my pre-baby bras. It feels nice wearing pretty things again! (And having an underwire to help me pretend like my sad boobs are still perky. ) BabyStandish I might have chuckled a little bit. Poor lo! raven hope she naps well for you! I think we're in this weird in between stage of going from 2 naps to 1. He can't quite make it until after lunch with no nap, but has been fighting the afternoon one. We've been eating lunch really late a lot recently.
Down for nap #2. Sometimes she has a one nap day, sometimes it's a two nap day. We went to the mall. You could film a zombie movie in there. Dead. We tried to go to a park, but it's way too windy. I took her to the store and we got some bubbles. Made plans to go hiking with my bro on Thursday. I hope LO cooperates in the carrier. She's a very curious kiddo and likes to look around. Last time I wore her around, she kept arching her back trying to escape. I'll take her stroller just in case. Can anyone suggest a good hiking carrier that LO might like? Or just suggestions in general of how to keep a very curious, pretends to not know her name toddler occupied while hiking? LOL TIA

My boobs are so, so sad. Even sadder now that we have completely weaned. I'm ok with smaller boobs but really?!

No suggestions on the carrier or distractions, just want to let you know that I, too, have a toddler who pretends not to know his name. Gah! I thought this kind of cheekiness wouldn't happen til they were slightly older.
LOs molar finally popped through. My family drama continues. Work has been dramatic also. DH is away for work again. I'm totally opening a bottle of wine tonight.

Right? Mine are pretty depressing and we have only partially weaned. I'm hoping being KU will stave off the full effect for the time being. Maybe the key is to just keep getting pregnant and nursing the kid as long as it takes to get pregnant again.
Although full weaning is not far off the horizon now. Nursing him has been excruciating the past few days

Weirdly when I was pregnant the first time before my loss, my boobs got huge. When pregnant with my LO my boobs never got huge at all, only when my milk came in. So strange. Now, just really sad boobs!!!
Sorry to everyone who had rough nights, crabby, or sick LOs. (And BabyStandish I'll give you your own special sorry for you LOs chicken bite!) I had a busy day at school and AF is late. There was a time Mh and I weren't careful. He is currently freaking out even though I got a bfn. Logistically it's good since we are moving to a two bedroom townhouse, but I would love the two year age gap! I'm hoping we can try this summer to have a Spring baby next year when B will be just over two. But dashook I will live vicariously through you for now!!
dashook oh man, we've got lots of cheekiness over here too. Lo likes to pretend he doesn't know what "Stop" means when he's heading down the driveway to the road. And then he throws a fit when I enforce the "don't you dare step in that road" rule. sgio7485. Hugs. Hope things start looking up for you! And damn, we aren't fully weaned yet either and my boobs are already in a sad, sad state. reginaphalange3 I hope you get an answer either way regarding AF, and that you're happy with the result!

Nope. They just get worse. I call mine gravel socks now. Sorry to burst your bubble.
