I didn't even know it was free cone day until I saw everyone post about it on FB. I was in Chicago all day and by the time I knew about it; I wasn't dragging anyone to get icecream even for free.

I joined Weight watchers last night. I'm pissed that it is low carb now in disguise as points. But my GD phone is so old and won't update OS anymore (4S) so it won't upload the stupid app so I can't count points. So I'm limited to eating from a tiny little list that they gave in the welcome packet or using my work computer. OR I have to go buy a new phone or drive a bajillion miles to the apple store to fix my phone because I live in a stupid place.
Diets suck. I'm grumpy and it's only the first day. Hahaha. FWP.

xanthepants, what made you choose WW? Do you know others who have done it and been successful? Do you do meetings and stuff? Just wondering how all of that works.

summergirl1211, I need accountability. I have been trying on my own since Jan with zero results. I've done it before years ago, and it's literally downstairs in my bag. A coworker goes and invited me so I thought Wth. I want to lose weight before Florida. I just hate low carb diets because without my gallbladder I have digestion issues 100% of the time. So I'm just really uncomfortable a lot. Yup meetings once a week. I lost about 30 Lbs maybe 8 years ago on it.
I did WW after JA was born and really liked it. I enjoyed the meetings and think it helped. Lots of recipe sharing and comraderi. It was nice having the support.

xanthepants and mrsrek10, good to know! I did the points system with my mom during college and it worked well to have some flexibility with food, but we never did meetings or anything. My H is looking to actually invest in the stock and is curious about it. Do you know of quite a few people joining lately? Have you noticed many changes now that Oprah is involved? Just thought I'd pick your brain a little.

My FB is always filled with Advocare or It Works...so not sure what is going on outside of those. Lol But anything Oprah has ever endorsed took off! Plus, WW is an established company so I think it would be a safe investment.
My FWP is that the batteries in the baby swing died and I don't have backup in the house. Jack loves his swing and I usually use it to shower or wash dishes. Looks like nothing is getting clean here until I get batteries. Lol
