Thin lining, Birthday IUI
My lining just before IUI was barely 5mm but we tried anyway. I agree that the memory of TTC stings but everyone has a different experiance and I get that.
H wrecked his car right before our final payment for IVF. I still remember ugly crying in my car thinking we had got so close and it wasn't going to happen. Then the insurance paid out 3xs what we thought we would get. So many ups and downs.
I did get my BFP on the day we celebrated my birthday. I still remember looking at the Wondfo, hands shaking, thinking this can't be real.
We had been trying for a year and it was the one cycle I didn't want to get KU, I figured that I could at least drink on my 30th birthday and we could start trying again after. So I wasn't paying attention to my cycle, CM, anything.
harlowjune1984 my RE told me that it allowed for better visualization with the catheter (they use an abdominal ultrasound to guide the catheter to the uterus during the transfer) and also since I have a retroverted uterus it helped create a more favorable angle for a smoother transfer. Someone else can chime in if they were told anything else/different.

Yes this but it doesn't matter about uterus type and to better see uterus and guide catheter so it's smooth and no kinks when transferring embryo(s)

Yep. The studies show the smoother the transfer the better the success rate. After they checked my bladder they sent me to pee a little because it was too full. They told me to pee 5 seconds and stop... No pressure.

I had that experience with FET #1. Seriously, my peeing powers are not that of a faucet that can be turned off, especially when so full!
For all of the "full bladder" ladies, why the full bladder? Is it easier to see everything on the ultrasound when getting the embryos?
Late last night, I was lying in bed and started laughing when I realized that I put "getting the embryos" instead of "eggs" or "transferring the embryos". But I was too lazy to get up late at night and change what I had written, so then I thought, "Well, hopefully they know what I meant, and don't think that I honestly think the doctors would literally be taking embryos OUT (instead of eggs)." HAHA!
