Letting DH sleep in a bit, so DS and I are watching (what else) Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I'm going to make beignets this morning for breakfast. I think today we'll just be doing some chores and yard work. This afternoon we are going to my parents for Sunday dinner; I'll probably just snooze on their couch
Basketbaaaallllll! Watching that most of today. May go hang at a friend's place with DS and H to watch the tournament. Even though my brackets are pretty much busted (thanks Michigan State).

Laundry and meal planning this morning. I'm going to attempt my Zumba class and just take it easy. Then we are headed to a couple of open houses. Easter dinner tonight with my family. Hoping I have enough energy to survive the day! Def napping with DS today. I also have my fingers crossed we get plowable snow overnight so my 8AM class is cancelled!!!

This. I had them winning the tourney. Fortunately the other side of my bracket is doing ok.
My Gators are playing Ohio State in the NIT today, so we'll be watching that. Not a stellar season for us.

Good morning! My birthday is coming up so DH and I are getting ourselves and DS packed for a night at grandmas (DS) and dinner out/hotel (for us). So excited for a full night of sleep!!
danib yay for ticker change! How many weeks are you now?
+1 for a busted bracket. Oh well.
Having "family nap" with DH and DS right now, but of course I can't sleep. I'm actually pretty annoyed at H for how he treats the weekends. The idea is for us to switch off so that one gets up with LO while the other sleeps in each day, but for some reason he never lets me sleep on my day, and always does something right around 9 to wake me.
Meanwhile on his days I'll let him go til whenever he wants, which is usually at least 11:30. It's doubly unfair because no matter whose day it is, I always have to get up for at least half an hour because I nurse DS when he first wakes. I'm going to have to talk to him about this. I'm stewing over it at the moment.
On a more positive note, I get to hang out with DS all afternoon because H is supposedly going in to work. So many possibilities for fun things to do! I'm thinking maybe Indian buffet. I ate there so. many. times when I was pregnant with him lol
Then maybe the mall. I need to buy some non-maternity maternity tops, if you know what I mean. Basically work-appropriate stuff that can hide a small belly and extend the time until I have to break the news at work.

We have to go grocery shopping and get stuff for healthy lunches this week. I only really need 3 lunches though because my group is going out on Thursday and we're off on Friday. We'll probably go out for breakfast/brunch if we can get out of bed.
I can't stand basketball but H will watch it sometimes. It seems like the year of the upset. Sorry for all the busted brackets ladies, but I will say that I'm not heartbroken about MSU losing since I'm a Michigan fan haha.
dashook yup, I just bought a couple loose-fitting new tops yesterday. I wanted some new things for spring but probably won't be in actual maternity clothes for another couple months, so I'm hoping those will help me make the transition.

I definitely need to do some pre-maternity shopping soon too but I hate the mall! I'll probably check out TJ Maxx and Marshall's first. I'm just ready for tank top and flip flop weather!

My friend just gave me 3 trash bags full of maternity clothes! It's like a new wardrobe! I am pretty much set. It's a good thing we are basically the same size. My bottom half is larger though so eventually I'll have to buy a pair of jeans and work pants.
I'm going to try on bridesmaids dresses again today... I'm not sure if this is a UO but I do not think the bridesmaids should be able to veto the brides dress pick. Here is the situation: the bride picked a dress. We were supposed to have a fitting a week ago and I'm the only 1 that showed up. The dress was pretty to me and had a lot of give in the tummy area (wedding is in June) so I was happy. I purchased the dress. Then I get a message saying we are going to "try again" and pick a dress "that's everyone's choice". Excuse me? It's the brides day. If she wants me to wear a brown paper bag I will! So I have to go again this afternoon and get a different dress!

@sarahwithanh what kind of puppy?! We got ours on the 4th so she's 10ish weeks old and we're having the same problem with the teething. She's lucky she's so cute!
cookswithwine9 how frustrating re: bridesmaids dresses. I'm always amazed at the girls on Say Yes To The Dress who are so awful to the bride about her picks for b'maid dresses. I have worn a couple that were pretty bad but just kept my mouth shut.

She's a rescue so we aren't sure, but they guessed Shepherd terrier mix. She's very short and long so everyone says corgi. She is almost 6 months old. The teething has gotten worse this week.
She sounds like a cutie. I hope the teething gets figured out soon. We've gotten lucky and never had a chewer before so I don't have any idea of what to/not to do. I hope she finds a love for her toys shortly for everyone's sake.

goldenlove3 add me to the ready for tank top weather. Whatever is going on this weekend is such a downer. I'm freezing!
cookswithwine9 awesome about the maternity clothes! The dress situation stinks though. No one should have a say unless asked and doubly so since no one else could show up for the original fitting date. I hope this new dress will go well with the bump you'll be sporting in June.
dashook - I wanna bring R and do Indian buffet with you and your little guy! That would be so much fun!
We did a Crossfit workout this morning with friends, and when I got a little lightheaded I toned it down a bit. Our friend was pushing me to keep sprinting and DH just says, "C shouldn't over do it, she's pregnant." Oh my, our friend was SO excited! She worked out through both of her pregnancies so she's a great resource (since I mostly sat on my butt during my first pregnancy). They also live down the street, so they're our support plan with DS if we need to make a middle of the night run to L&D later in pregnancy. They've got two little boys who get along great with our son, and he'd be fine there for a day until my parents can get here to help.
calindi yes! Indian buffet would be so fun with the boys!! Nice job with the workout too. I'm definitely trying to be more proactive with my health and fitness this time around.
Good morning everyone!! Really it's the afternoon but I just woke up Still laying in bed.
I need to decide what I want to do today. It seems sunny but the weather app says it's only 38. Darn. DH is running around doing stuff, he told me while in was mostly still asleep and I kind of forget. Haha.

sophiegrace, this is the one I am wearing to the June wedding. The thing about RTR that I love is that you can look at pics of people in it, check out people who have similar sizing and body type, and also get two sizes. The other thing that I learned last pregnancy is that non-maternity, stretchy sheath dresses look best on me while pregnant.
One of the reviewers wore it while pregnant. It's a winner, for me.
