Good luck! If you got the whole drink down, the worst part is over. :-)
Thanks! I can only imagine the look I had on my face when I was drinking it because one of the OB's was walking by and stopped to encourage me to just chug it and to please not throw it up because I'll just have to come back and do it all again if I can't keep it down. Haha umm thanks for the encouragement, OB!
babyzebra, best of luck. I am not looking forward to mine. I barely remember mine from when I was pregnant with DD. I don't remember it being too bad though.
I have a presentation to give today at 10. But, other than that I am mostly home till we have this baby since I can't start my job till the fall.
I have a job interview today at 1pm (it's at a college with an interview itinerary... 3 hours of me life). I'm equal parts nervous, not nervous and convinced that even entertaining the thought of switching jobs now is about the dumbest thing i can do.
At my current job I will be able to take 12 weeks off (exhausting PTO and sick time), have my own office with a locking door and sink, am completely flexible with my schedule and answer to no one. I can take off whatever days/times I want with no issues... When my kid gets sick at daycare now, I go and get her. I don't ask, I don't tell anybody.... and I'm passionate about the mission and my organization. So - uh - WHY AM I DOING THIS???
Good luck today Flair Underwood! I can see why you have mixed feelings. Maybe you'll get a better idea of what direction to go in after you have your interview. Let us know how it goes!

Good luck Flair Underwood! You'll be able to weigh the pros and cons later. For now, there is no harm done in going for the interview. But if you didn't do it, you wouldn't know what you could be missing.

Good luck glucose testers! I realized I might be eating too many jelly beans when I didn't think the 1 hour glucose test drink was all that bad. I did end up feeling pretty gross and tired afterwards, but had no trouble with the drink.
I passed my glucose test GL to everyone taking it today. I slept in way too late this morning, I think my mornings are not yet on daylight savings time.

I just drank the fruit punch flavor for the glucose test. The lemon lime last time was better. Hoping I pass! Also at the ob for my first third tri appointment!! Baby is going crazy with the glucose drink.
Lots of glucose testers today-good luck everyone!!
I am doing okay, wearing my boot and still in a lot of pain. My burns have blistered up a bit but don't look awful. My family flies in town tomorrow and it's really just driving me crazy that I can't be cleaning and be productive. My poor DH will just have a lot of cleaning to help with and errands to run when he gets home from work tonight.
My mother in law came over to help a bit this morning. My sister in law also dropped by with her kids, which is fun for my DS to play with his cousins, but also makes my house (and the cleaning I am going to have to do!) extra crazy. My MIL is great, but she's not super aware of what to help with (like clean up, unload my dishwasher, etc.) I basically had to suggest right now, "I bet DS would love to go to the park!" (he's been stuck inside with my injury) So they just did. It's not that she doesn't want to, she just doesn't think that obviously them getting out of the house could be helpful to me!

Hey mamas! I've been a bad J16er. You guys get the ransoms rolling so early it's hard to jump in!
GL to everyone taking the glucose test today! I had mine a couple weeks ago. They never called with the results so I'm assuming no news is good news...hopefully. I had the orange drink but it was clear. Took my brain a long time to process that.
I'm going to try to come and play more! Scouts honor!
But just want to make sure I've considered everything.
I have the keyfit...I had the Baby Jogger City Mini with the Chicco attachment, but traded it for the City Select. I'm not getting the attachment this time, I'll either wear babe or use a snuggler, with the seat fully reclined. When DD2 was born (DD1 was 18 months) I found I wore the baby and used a single stroller than used the double.
I got my city mini on Craigslist with the car seat adapter for a great deal. I know you just had a bad experience with that...
Had my follow up with the OB this morning. My blood pressure was 140/90 and they found traces of protein in my urine. SO I was sent home to be on modified bed rest for the day. Baby boy sounded good and my belly measured right on track. I am going back to the office on Thursday for another check up and to have an ultrasound to check on coffee bean. She wants to give the BP medicine a chance to work before she makes the call to put me on official bed rest. I am going to be seen weekly until my BP stabilizes.
I am feeling better today, I am just extremely tired and a little anxious about what the next few weeks are going to look like.
txmommy14, Glad your family is coming by. I totally feel you on sitting back and trying not to do anything!! I hope the pain eases back soon, did they give you anything to manage it?
Good luck to everyone doing the GTT today! Hope you guys rock it!

txmommy14 we have the keyfit 30. Im not much help though because I haven't given it much thought. We have a snap and go and a really nice single stroller that we got right before we found out about surprise. I guess I am leaning towards holding off on the double till we absolutely need it. I can always use the ergo baby for surprise and get a little more use out of our brand new single. Or vice versa use the ergo for DS and the snap and go for surprise. I just hate that we spent so much money on a stroller we have used like 5 times.
