Im so, so sorry. The good thing is that you have an appointment and its not several weeks away. The waiting is awful but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Oh @pugsandwine , I'm sorry. You're not stupid - not even a little bit. Waiting to hear news about the ones we love, and especially the ones we love and protect - our babies - is so hard. Each day feels longer than the last. I'm thinking of you this long week coming up.

Okay! So we got the best possible news we could get! So Miles has a condition called (big breath)
Benign Hyperphenylalininemia
Key word being BENIGN! So basically his body doesn't process proteins quite as well as "normal" people, but it's so slight that we have to make no adjustments and he is perfectly healthy with no risks for physical or cognitive delays (big risk for PKU patients) at all! The doc said for us to keep going just as we would without this knowledge!
So wonderful news and diagnosis - and a huge weight off our shoulders! I felt so much lighter leaving the doctor's office yesterday!
NOW I'm dealing with some nasty and super painful Mastitis - because it's never easy! Sorry I didn't post yesterday - this fever is no joke.
