We just booked a trip to Bermuda in May and I can't wait! DH finally has time off and I was too afraid of Zika and want to be in the ttc club and so far Bermuda has not been on the mosquito map so Bermuda here we come. So help me friends what do I need to know about Bermuda? As a couple we've been to a few islands in the Caribbean but this is our first real family vacay and first time in Bermuda. Has anyone been? Anything we should definitely do? Places to eat? Just sit back and love life on the pink sand?
My sister is going to the Bahamas in May with her bf's family. I'm pretty jealous, because she's doing all this floppy hat/swim suit shopping. Have a great time.

Ok, asked my friend for suggestions and recommendations and here's what she emailed me:
Are your friends flying or cruising? Do you know where they are staying? We have always stayed in Hamilton. We're not lay on the beach people for days on end, so we like the flexibility of being "in town". We can walk to shops, restaurants, some points of interest, the bus terminal and the ferry terminal. We usually buy a book of tokens that can be used on buses & ferries all over the island. Depending on what your friends like to do, here are a few things.
Sightseeing: Gibbs Lighthouse in Southhampton David's Lighthouse in St. David's The whole little island of St. George's, including: Ft. St. Katherine, St. Peter's Church and The Bermuda Perfumery Masterworks Museum in the Botanical Gardens Bermuda Anglican Cathedral (stunning) Bermuda National Gallery
Nature walking: Spittal Pond Cooper's Island Reserve (we hired a local guide who picked us up and took us there and explained all the flora & fauna, can get a little pricey but worth it to us.). Could do it on your own. Tom Moore's Jungle St. John Smith's Bay
Eating: All the restaurants we went to were in Hamilton. I would recommend: Harry's, Ascot's, Marcus' (in the Fairmount Princess), Bouchée, Bermuda Bistro on the Beach. For the best fish sandwich ever - Art Mel's - we had a taxi take us because it's out of the way and take out only. Have it the Bermuda way - on homemade cinnamon raisin bread with cole slaw on it. So, so good!
Shopping all along Front St. in Hamilton.
Touristy things - Royal Naval Dockyard
Not this time but the time before, we did a half day fishing trip on the Jolly Roger which was fun.
We have not been to the Aquarium/Zoo or the Crystal Caves although both are supposed to be good.
Those are the highlights, if they have any specific questions, let me know! I have given a lot of reviews on Trip Advisor and is an app I use a lot for guidance.
