The batches are 40-45 gallons each. This is our fourth day of canning. J hates it because she's stuck in the pack n play because there's just way too much hot stuff. I love the thrill of finishing the product.
Lame complaint- I just peeled up one of my gel nails taking lids off.
Holy smokes that's a TON of maple syrup!!!
I love love love love love maple syrup. My grandpa used to pour a little in a spoon and eat it after he was done with pancakes.
Sounds like fun but I'm not ready for alcohol yet LOL! Also I want to dye eggs!
((hugs)) Going to a fancy bar/restaurant with my parents and some particularly fun uncles so I might be on the recovery road tomorrow. Hang in there onesweetworld!

Hydrate between drinks. That was my mistake.
Went to a brew fest a while ago and got messed up because I forgot to eat. All day.
My plan is to space it out as much as I can and drink lotsa water and eat lotsa pasta!

H's dad collects maple syrup on his property. He is super stingy with it. On the one hand I see how much work it is to make. But he literally shares none with us. But gives it to other people as gifts.
Oh man, I'd cherish that sweet nectar if he gave it to me!
I'm thinking about spray painting some old metal tables that are in our backyard but can't decide on a color. Red, blue, green? Nothing I've seen is really speaking to me

I feel bad complaining about him he's a good guy. I have pretty good in laws
Just re-read what you wrote! Sorry I didn't mean that as a "you should appreciate him" just as "damn I would love to have some!" That sucks he doesn't share with you guys

I just made waffles for breakfast. I need to make cupcakes today (minus the frosting), go to Barnes & Noble, and work 5-9:30.
Except for the work part, I like your day!
Work isn't too bad. It's a super short shift. Usually I work an 8 hour over the weekend so I can't complain.
The school I work at is having a fund raiser at Barnes & Noble. Need to get a book for my niece and shall be hopefully picking up the illustrated HP book.

I'm making pasta with garlic olive oil, broccoli+mushrooms. We're supposed to visit my grandparents this afternoon. I feel like I should bake something. But no eggs. And if I go out to buy some I might as well just stop at the bakery for something yummy right. Right.
We are supposed to go to my friend's house for an Easter get together. She has a big group going and plays all these games. I'm just hoping I feel good enough to go!
Oh I like games! I want someone to hide Easter eggs for me. I hope you feel well enough to go!!!
We play a particularly vicious egg toss...there may be tears. Last year we learned wedding rings must come off. H and I have been practicing in the kitchen.

Last time I went to B&N I spent way too much time and way too much money. But even my kid loved it. It has so much fun stuff.
