Asher was so constipated the other day that I took a thermometer, loosened all the stool that was stuck in his butt canal, then proceeded to push his legs toward his head while the poop slid out. That was something I never imagined doing, to anyone, ever

zpanjwani: I hear you lady. Digging poop out of Riley's butt was an experience I never wanted to have either. The things we do for our kids!
zpanjwani - I totally feel ya. I had to do the loosen up trick with a q-tip and Vaseline once. I also had to rub her belly and basically push out the poop another time...
I don't want to do anything for the rest of the day. Kids are silent reading. I think we might clean out desks. Friday win: going to Johnny Rockets for dinner. Yeah! Milkshake.

1. I don't know how to gif here. 2. I don't know how to like posts here.
And another confession... Our printers at work default to 2-sided printing, which is way better for the environment, blah blah blah, but I hate it. I always change that shit back and use double the paper. I feel a little guilty but not enough to stop doing it.

origamimommy it's easy... I made an image but tiny pic is being a little bitch for me right now.... Click on the "picture" button in the reply box and insert your Image URL there. "insert image" and "post", done!
Easy! Not as easy as TB made it for us in the end, but still pretty easy. Now regular images are a PITA (for me at least) because as far as I can see we have to use something like tinypic to get a url. I can't just upload an image. Boo.
I wore a shirt twice to work this week. In my defense, I was wearing it under sweaters so it's not like anyone could see and it didn't smell or anything.
I wear the same pants almost everyday I work. I'm not saying how often they get washed.

I only own 5 pairs of maternity dress pants. Now we can wear jeans to work 90% of the time (so I don't wear them often), but I have yet to wash a pair of the dress pants...or take them in to be cleaned because I am honestly scared that I am going to ruin them.

Dang it! It was a gif of eating cookies LOL
When I find one like from google images or giphy or tumblr, I right-click and copy image URL, click the little "insert picture" window here, paste and enter. This is the first time it hasn't worked for me!

I started brainstorming birthday party ideas for Liam this week. I don't know why I get so excited about planning his birthday party, but every year once January hits I start thinking about birthday themes. I'm excited to get his input this year, but I'm also afraid. We somehow got on the subject of birthdays a couple of weeks ago and Liam had a meltdown because it wasn't his birthday. I really think he just wanted some cake but he got all sad and pathetic and kept repeating 'where my birthday go?'.

@riversong11 I'm the same way. We started talking birthdays too. Apparently I get to plan a dinoaur princess theme. Which could actually be nutty enough for me to enjoy (dealing with the princess part). I went to far as too look up every kid birthday themed place in the metro that I could find.

Ugh I don't even want to think about birthday parties yet. If we do a party this year, I don't think I'll run my theme by M, only because I fear he will want to change it a million times and then he might be unhappy with what I do choose. If he doesn't know about a theme, he will be happy just to see it at all!
I guess my FC now is that I probably won't even throw J a birthday party this year. She didn't have one for 1, because we were alone... and she had a fun bash this year that was small-ish.
I'll have a newborn though, so thinking about it now I just really don't want to stress myself out. We'll probably end up having some family over for cake and presents, but I'm most certainly not going all out for it.
origamimommy Our work printers are set to double sided printing as well, but I like to print out everything single sided because my kids literally cannot understand staples. Except I always forget to switch it so then I print everything out twice, which is definitely not saving any paper at all.
Proboards don't work as well on my work computer as TB for some reason and it makes it really hard to check at work.
I tried every excuse in the book to get out of going to my IL's this weekend. I really wanted DH to take cam and go by himself so I could have a quiet weekend alone to veg out, watch tv, clean, organize, and generally enjoy the silence. Nothing worked and I am writing to you having just passed exit 2 on the Mass Pike. Boo.
When Kayleigh is around and I'm feeding Andrew, she insists on sitting next to me and holding my boob. Yep, she sits there and holds the side of my boob while she watches tv. I dont try to fight it at this point since I know she just feels left out and wants some type of connection like Andrew. But its really weird. She also tells me lately that she wants to "go night-night on mommy's boob" (ie snuggle).
