28 weeks today- yay third trimester! That's correct right? Baby is the size of a coconut. I have an appointment today to do my glucose test... Not looking forward to it. New symptoms: just feel like I'm running out of room already and reflux is coming back. I feel like I am a pretty hard worker and I hope she is like that as well. I also want her to be confident in herself because I struggled with that a lot and to accomplish her goals and not give up.
What fruit/cute animal/weird item are you packing this week?
Pineapple, cottontail rabbit
Any fun symptoms going on?
Just tired, unwieldy, peeing all the time... The usual.
Any appointments this week?
Had a doctor's appointment today. She wasn't concerned about the pelvic pressure, especially since it seems to have disappeared. She thinks I just need to listen to my body and sit when I need to sit.
Rants/Raves/Random thoughts?
My coworkers are throwing me a shower, which is really nice. They seem to be going quite above and beyond about it... So that is kind of embarrassing, but also awesome
GTKY: Stealing this from PAIF- What qualities of yourself would you like to pass on to this little one? I'd like him to have my social skills and positive outlook. I'd also like him to be capable and driven. Those are the qualities that I think have made my life easier. What qualities would you like for them not to inherit? I hope my children are better about standing up for themselves and others than I am. I avoid awkwardness more than I should, soften statements that shouldn't be soft.

Realized I didn't do this!
29 weeks this week. Ovia has a cute rabbit.
Symptoms-wise, kid is kicking me like a rabbit. He has a fondness for one spot, too, which is rapidly becoming sore. I eat so much. I pee so much.
R/R/RT: Iron pills so far haven't been constipating. That sentence for my weekly overshare. I maybe feel a bit more energy, too. Taxes done after working all day and staying awake, not to mention alert, past 9:30/10 to do them -- this would not have happened last week.
GTKY: What qualities of yourself would you like to pass on to this little one? I asked H this, and he said my intelligence and playfulness, which was entirely sweet. I was also pretty great at studying while in school, which would be easier for a parent I'd think.
What qualities would you like for them not to inherit? I hope they have a greater sense of self-confidence (well-placed) and assertiveness.
