Oh that's cute! But it's not rainbow, rainbow is roygbiv. But I really like it. Neat idea.
Yes. I was initially going to do the roygbiv but I didn't have any orange ornaments and was lacking green, so it wasn't going to be as even as I would have liked. Also, I have lots of pink and wanted to use them
I found it more amusing than I should have when I was admitted to the hospital. And Poor DH had to carry my very flamboyant Vera Bradley over night bag all the way across the military base in uniform. He claims to have taken it like a champ when a female higher up commented on his bag.

I never tell SO how much I spend on things. When he asks I lie. So, he doesn't know how much I've spent on my cousin, or how much I spent on make up this month. He keeps his finances a secret from me, I feel like keeping mine secret from him.
I'm using my cup for the first time. And I'm not so sure I like it. I mean, it's fine while it's in. But the putting in and taking out just really bothers me.

Since we know we're in the same city, I had wondered if you were at that particular hospital Many of my childhood friends were born there. How is your son handling you being on bedrest?
My husband knows exactly how much I spend on things, as he's got access to the account I use, and is the one that puts money in there for the bills. I have no income. He sometimes asks why I don't spend more money lol. I think he feels a bit guilty about going out for lunch every day, and wants me to "even things out", but I just don't have anything I want to spend his (our) money on.

See, it's not that I want to keep my finances from him. We just keep everything so separate as is. I don't have much of an income, I get child support, some money from services I do, and whatever is left over in the budget from grocery shopping. SO gets to spend his fun money without asking permission, I get to spend mine without asking permission. He does sometimes ask how much I've spent on things, but some things he just doesn't need to know. Mostly due to the fact he thinks some of my hobbies are ridiculous.
When I had an income we had our own separate accounts, and a joint account for household bills. Now that I have no income, there's no reason for me to have an account of my own.

Yeah, thats kind of how it is here. SO makes the money and pays the bills. I use my tiny income for myself and my bills. I like keeping things pretty separate. For now.

Oh! I know a good FFFC. We let Rosie go to sleep with her tablet last night. She ended up staying up late playing on it instead of sleeping, then she was so tired when I dropped her at school and was cranky.

We have a budget in Mint, so DH can look and see what I spend, but I can do the same. We have built in an "allowance" of sorts for each of us each month that each can do as they please. As long as we are keeping within our budgets, we both don't really question what the other spends.
I confess that I found $6 in the stairwell this morning. I tried to catch up to the people in front of me to see if it belonged to anyone, but I lost them in the elevator crowd. Then I thought about leaving it with security or the lost and found, but you know it would've gone in someone's pocket anyhow.
Now I'm trying to figure out what I should do with the money. I would pay it forward at Starbucks or something if I went anywhere like that. But I can't really eat anything anywhere, so.... my money?

Not great and he is still on Christmas vacation til Tuesday. Thank goodness MIL will be here tomorrow so today is my only day alone with him. I have an awesome friend from our last duty station out here who kept him while I was in the hospital for 3days.
MH is home today with the girls (and the nanny.) He is taking the girls individually to go do special stuff, 1:1. And I'm soooooo glad that they are getting to do this.

Yay for good friends and hope going back to school will let him burn off some energy. Then let MIL take care of the rest of his energy. Creepy internet hugs!

But I'm soooooo jealous.
Hopefully this ends the poop in undies trend?
He's only here for the weekend. So if it does, it might return later.
I think because she plans to SAH with her next one?
Because I would be looking for a teaching position, and going on maternity leave a month into the school year. Which would be incredibly disruptive to the learning process.
