Is anyone else having so much trouble sleeping? A lot of my trouble recently I know is from work stress but I am getting up a lot to pee and then also just waking up randomly.
Sore boobs. Pulling feelings in my hips. No real nausea anymore -- although I am sure I am speaking too soon.

I have no trouble falling asleep. But then I'm up and wide awake around 4 a.m.
requiressnacks , YES! I have to prop my eyelids open to stay awake and then am totally wired in the middle of the night. And then the cycle repeats!
Exactly. It's so frustrating. So now I just go to bed at like 8:30/9:00. My life is a little lame right now....home from work at 6:30, eat dinner, watch a TV show, go to bed.

legalbeagle and requiressnacks Same here!! Crashing at 9pm, but then wide awake at 3am to pee. And then I can't go back asleep.
I read its common and to try and limit water intake in the evenings.
I'm in the wide-awake-in-the-middle-of-the-night club, with touches of headaches. I'm surprised my 5x a night peeing hasn't started yet, I felt like that was immediate with DD. No nausea yet - holla!!
Anyone have any tips for dealing with morning sickness at work? I just vomited for the second time today, and am really dreading going back to school next week.

I just ordered some ginger lozenges things that say they help, but I haven't tried them yet. I feel a little more nauseous every day so I fear I'm getting close. I was also thinking of bringing some carbonated water to work to see if that helps, but I'm not sure. So basically I'm no help

I had HG with my son. I relied on Preggie Pop Drops and Gatorade to help get me through meetings without vomiting. Usually.

Round ligament pain is apalling. I didn't get it till second tri last time. This time it started the day after my BFP.
Unfortunately, pregnancy insomnia is a very real thing. Limiting liquid won't necessarily help, partly because you need to drink more overall than before you were pregnant, and also because peeing in the night is just part of pregnancy and it will only get worse.
At this stage, you aren't peeing more because your bladder is squashed, but because the greater volume of blood in your body means your kidneys are working harder and therefore producing more urine more quickly.
It seems to be characteristic of pregnancy that after waking you up to pee, it often keeps you awake apparently just for fun.
purple what time is it over there? Is it middle of the night?
It's ten o'clock. L has been fighting going to sleep tonight and I have genuine bruises. H is out so I need to do some chores before I can go to sleep, but I've just texted to say I won't be able to do everything tonight.

this is why I need you all so much. I know how to be infertile, I don't know how to be pregnant. I need all the information lol
Being pregnant I can help with. I still feel very much like an FTM. My baby is only ten months old, for crying out loud! But it's less than a year since I was pregnant (as witness ten month old baby), so I remember quite a lot about it.

That's what I read too about having to pee more in 1st tri!

This made me laugh. That's totally how I feel. I spent a ton of time researching and thinking about how to get pregnant but basically no time on what to do when you're actually pregnant. My husband keeps saying, shouldn't we be doing something?? Like picking a name or buying a car seat or something? I just keep saying I think we're good for awhile, no to-do list.

Are those any good?? I had some ginger things from TJs last time. I'm so worried about being sick at work. I've already had two weeks of poor work bc of this stupid sinus infection and I just know the nausea is coming.
They helped me a lot. Ginger made me throw up more, but the sour things seems to help. The lollipops are gross, but the drops were really good. Except for the green apple ones. They were disgusting. I think it's definitely worth a shot!

It's funny ginger helps me when I'm on a plane or boat when I'm not pregnant but when I'm pregnant ginger makes me feel more sick. I am all about the lemon drops and lemon water, for some reason that helps. I also take Unisom and B6 at night. I know people have different thoughts on medicine while pregnant but I find it impossible to teach and puke at the same time so I did it last time and I'm doing it again. I'm still nauseous but it's better with that.
