I thought I wasn't having symptoms today and was beginning to get anxious. Then I realised I'd been shivering all afternoon. I'm now wearing two jumpers*, including a fleece, and two pairs of socks, and I'm gradually thawing.
Also, when I said I hadn't been having symptoms, H poured a glass of tap water and handed it to me. When I gagged, he looked smug and said, "My work here is done." I didn't slap him because he also bought me flowers, but it was close.
*I believe the garment I call a jumper has a different name in America, but I can't think what. A warm garment for the upper half of the body, often knitted but can also be fleece or a sweatshirt.
purple, I love how you give us explanations for things that are different in America. Much appreciated. In my mind, a jumper looks like this:
I think we'd call a jumper either a sweater or a sweatshirt, depending on what material it's made out of.
I would never have imagined the word jumper could refer to what I would call a pinafore dress, or just a pinafore! It's also odd to see an adult wearing one. It's very much a garment for little girls in the UK. Many primary school uniforms have a pinafore as an option for girls instead of trousers or a skirt.

Not many women I know wear these in the US either.
purple I have been absolutely freezing as well. I put a space heater in my work office and I live in a warm climate, but I cannot seem to get warm. I slept in yoga pants, socks, a shirt and a sweater last night.
Since I'm on a business trip, today was obviously the day that alllll the fun symptoms decided to appear. Nausea kicked in during breakfast with my co-workers, food aversion at lunchtime (convenient, when we're setting up a booth at a conference and just the smell of literally the only food vendor in the building immediately made me want to vomit), and then super sore boobs and abs as we were moving stuff and putting up our exhibit. The next week is going to be so much fun if this keeps up!

Tired tired tired... Oh so sleeeepy! And I have been freezing too! I just stopped nursing before I got pregnant and I was always hot from that, crazy how hormones change your body so quickly.
IVF+ICSI March 2016 (6R/5M/5F - 3 embryos on ice) 4/7/16: first ever BFP! EDD: 12/17/16 DS Arrived via C-Section 12/19/16! FET #1 June 2019 - 1 embryo didn't survive thaw & the one that did didn't stick around. BFN FET #2 September 2019 - last embryo didn't survive thaw.
Well, the nausea decided to land with a resounding thud in the middle of the night last night. Kind of it.
I've been on the verge of tears all day, too.
eristin, do talk to your doctor. I had major problems with low blood pressure last time and dizziness to the point of passing out was one of the main symptoms.
Interestingly, I've discovered over the past few days that if I get enough sleep (and these days, enough means at least 9 hours), my nausea is way down compared to if I don't get enough. I got 10 hours last night - it was glorious and I feel good today, even after working in the nursery at church and teaching Sunday School.

I definitely found that last time. And this time, with a ten month old who still wakes more than once a night, getting that amount of sleep - let alone uninterrupted - is a total fantasy :-)
I have apparently entered the super dizzy and almost blacking out stage. Can't remember if that's normal?!
I full on blacked out on Friday at the chiropractor. I actually told my boss I'm KU just in case it happens at work
Missed this earlier for some reason. Fainting isn't an uncommon pregnancy symptom, but if it keeps on happening, definitely talk to your doctor. Hope you're feeling okay now.

W, yeah I've had these come and go. Mostly dull constant lower back pain but also with the cramps. I tried to stay well hydrated but not sure how much that helped or if they went away on their own. Hugs.
W, I had what I swore were period cramps, even down to hurting into my knees like my period cramps usually do around week 6. The cramps were off and on for a couple of days and then they subsided. Thinking about you! I hate how we overanalyze every single thing our body is doing right now. ETA: tagging is hard on the phone
Glad they are stopping W! I had these the whole first trimester last time... it's usually dehydration, so like PP said lay down and rest with a bottle of water.
W, hope that you are feeling better this morning. I've had off and on period-like cramps for... well... since the first week I found out, and so far they don't appear to have caused any issues. FX yours were also nothing!

I am dealing with the sleeping like death..struggling to get up out of bed. I get energy till I eat and then I just want to pass out again. I am bloated and my nipples are still sore. Back acne is still running rampant. I am having uneasy stomach not so much going to just bark my brains out.
Anyone workout? I swear my symptoms subside a lot after my workouts. I was just curious if anyone noticed the same thing?
WineNChocolate,I have no energy to work out. I wish I did, I bet it would make me feel better. I'm like you, I have energy until I eat then I so desperately need a nap. My stomach has been uneasy too, but I'm not sure if that's pregnancy or because my 1st ultrasound is tomorrow and I'm really nervous.

Oh that is stressful the wait till US..especially when its in the next 24 hours. I am sure it will go great. How far along are you again?
