Thank goodness it's Friday. I covered another teacher's class during my planning period, so it has made for a longer day. I have to tutor after work and then take my FIL to the store. It will be almost 8 by the time I get home!
Greetings from the end of spring break. Sorry I've been MIA, my dad came to visit and I've been trying to relish time with DS since my next "vacation" will be my maternity leave.
Also waiting on my GT. BLECH. Fruit punch is no better than orange.
I've found the one benefit of having to pee all the time. That awkward moment when your doctor asks for a urine sample and you know there is no way you'll be able to go? Does not exist anymore.
vivela I laugh when they ask if I have to pee. Asking a pregnant lady if they have to pee is like asking a fat kid if they want cake! Obviously. I also find the peeing all the time to be a nice break or 10 in the work day too!

It's like a pregnancy super power! I can pee on command at any time. I can also pee when I'm not trying to!
Ugh, I got the TDaP today and my arm is killing me. At least I knew it was coming, so I went with the side I use less. I was also deeply horrified by the number on the doctor's scale. I guess she is the live and let live type because she hasn't said a word, which is fine with me. It isn't like I don't know how fast I am gaining! I drove home planning how I would improve my diet, then sat down and ate some ice cream. WTH me?

+1 on all of this. I really appreciate my OB not saying anything about gaining 28lbs. And then I had a donut today at work.

I've had a similar weight gain experience. I did so awesome first tri and only gained like 3 lbs. But since second tri I gain like 3 lbs/week

I finally made a baby purchase! We really don't need much (unless this baby ends up being a boy) but I wanted to have some less girly nb clothes for going home.
I feel like I'm going through another growth spurt, I've been famished ALL of the time the past few days, no matter how much I eat. I was concerned about my weight gain (up 32 pounds), but now that I found out they're actually concerned about her growth and want me to eat as much protein as possible, I'm not even worrying. I'm going to try to eat as much fatty nutritional food as possible so she gets what she needs and we can get her weight percentile up! Also there's a good chance I only have 6 weeks left-what?!?! Crazy.
txmommy14 it sounds like your doctors have a good plan but sonograms are only so accurate. I had lots of extra ones because they were concerned with DS's growth, they kept telling me he was constantly measuring small. He was born at 8lbs and 21in. Far from small if you ask me. Try not to stress yourself out about it.
