I've started actively weaning today. Someone refused to nap without boobah.
Good luck! For naps, I tried to plan our errands around nap time and got a car nap instead of a boob nap. However, that won't work if your daughter takes long naps. For me, I got a coffee and he was awake 45 min later and we'd do complete errand.

FX weaning goes well mimsy. I think it was about 3 days of real challenge with both mine (the nursing obsessed one and the ambivalent one both, I was kind of surprised).
I'm not going cold turkey. But definitely trying to get it down to bedtime and (unfortunately) MOTN only. I have no real consistent errands to run daily or the car would work. Though my real goal is to get her to fall asleep without the need for a car ride/stroller/boob. Maybe I need to re-evaluate my plan.

I used the car to break the nursing for nap habit. Then I was able to get him to lay down in his crib and take a nap. Before breaking the habit, it was just a lot of screaming and him clawing at my shirt. It was about 10 days of car naps and he forgot he used to nurse at nap time. I was desperate. I'm sure there is a better way!
My H is home!!! Yay!!! We met up with a couple of friends for lunch today. Then we came home and all fell into carb comas for 3 hours. Including A, which is twice as long as his naps have been lately. Score! In a little bit were gonna go to the grocery store and get stuff to grill tonight. Such a good day! I'm just happy to have H home again. It was a long week!
With the work week starting, I can try for new habits. I know what my plan is, but it's not nice enough for me to want to be outside with her in the mornings. The hope is to run it off in the AM, lunch and nap.
She passed out today at 4 on the sofa while watching Puffin Rock.
