Isaac is 3 months today!! So crazy how fast time flies. Last night he made the Mama sound. He said it four times in a row while I was cooking lasagna. He kept trying to see what I was doing. He did it in front of DH and my sister. They were both yelling for me. I still think he is just exploring the sounds. So far he has done things that sound like Hi, moo, Mama, Dada and No.
How cute! The most clear think Liam says is "Aflac" in a duck sound haha!

spikesmom - I work from home too (don't go back until the end of March). We were thinking of having a nanny come to the house until my bil (who is a SAHD) offered to watch him. They live 2 blocks away so I'm hoping to literally run back & forth for feedings. I figure I'll get a small workout in. Wondering how realistic it will be now.
lissydee what the actual f?? Seriously they deleted AmyG?!?!? She was amazingly helpful. This was just what I needed to request to have my account deleted. Thanks for the update!! Argh ... Friggin' dump!!

Will you all please pretend the generic avatar by my SN is my real avatar? For ten million reasons, I still haven't changed it. I hate that I can't do it from mobile.
sorry to still be complaining about TB fuckery, but they now are deleting AmyG*'s posts and content for no reason. They're pissed at her about clarifying the TOU to those who have asked.
I am STILL waiting for a full deletion. I've received no response from TN and TK.
Wow are you serious about AmyG*?! That's nuts! I haven't been over there lately but she has so many insanely helpful posts. Her posts helped me so much when I was first starting out breastfeeding.

Honestly as much as I love having him here that might actually be a better set up bc you could still nurse (I hate pumping) but he wouldn't be in the next room. I find it incredibly distracting when I can hear him fussing or even crying. I'm hoping it will be easier in our new house where my office will be a little removed from the rest of the house. I do love our nanny though and it is really nice not to have to get him ready to go in the mornings.

Guys... My sister is pregnant!! I've known for about a month but she's finally telling people now. I have a dilemma, though. Do I tell her about the PB or not? Y'all have been incredibly helpful for the last 10 months and idk how I would have made it through my pregnancy without you, so I want her to have that too. But, I kind of like not having family around here and it would really change things for me if I knew she was reading what I was posting. She and I aren't close and I don't really trust her.
Oh, and I'm basically her main pregnancy resource right now. It turns out that little sister might actually know a thing or two that older sister has yet to learn. Imagine that.
wildflower810 I'd tell her just make sure she doesn't know your Username. Side note:I wonder if there is a way to block a person like you can in Facebook, that way you know for sure if she found out your username you can just block her and she can't see your stuff.
briannea - My LO went through that around that time too! She's 11 weeks tomorrow and I have serious Velcro baby who is refusing a bottle and naps. Just.wants.boobs.all.day.long.
Been crazy busy at work but thought I would share my amusement and wonder which has turned out to be a novel. So Joseph's Dad's ex just had her baby last night that may or may not be Josephs half sister because she slept with 3 guys around the same time frame of conception. Josephs dad sent me pictures and I have to say I'm leaning toward it not being his. I say this with an open mind and wholeheartedly believe he very well could be the daddy. Joesph's dad also has another kid in Texas that's around the age of 8. I compared Joesph's picture to hers and you can see some resemblance between the two. I then compared the ex's new baby to both of their pictures and I just don't see it, especially in the ears (Joesph and his half sister have big ears like there dad). That could just mean the mom's genes are more dominant but i don't see it. Now if I compare the ex's baby to her other kid there is major resemblance going on like it's full blooded siblings not half. Again could just be the mom's genes are more dominant but I guess i'll find out in a month or so. I only slightly care because I feel that half siblings are just as important as full siblings. They should know about each other and hangout every now then if possible. I have personal experience of growing up with a half sibling who is the worst/best brother in the whole world and having a sister that I've never meet and would have like to.
wildflower810 I might not tell my sister, if we didn't get along and I wanted to have a safe place.... not that I'd go out of my way to keep her from it, just might not give her the address and everything. That's just me.
briannea I think my baby is in a perpetual growth spurt! She's 11 weeks and if she's not eating, she's sleeping. And lots of times she's doing both (like right now, the little boob monkey). I get only brief times of activity/alertness. Every once in awhile it's an hour or more. I think there really might be a three month spurt? Your baby could be getting to it a little early?
zengal I'm on the fence about it. Personally I don't care but then again I do because of Joseph. If Joseph has a sibling 4 month younger then him so be it. If she is his sibling and asks questions i'll tell him but save the more in depth conversation about it till his older and the reality of his dad's and my own mistakes can be a life lesson in what not to do. If she's not his sibling great but when he's older and active i'll probably still talk to him about it because it's a teachable lesson of what not to do and what can happen.
There must be something going on around 10/11 weeks because my guy has never eaten so much, little snack size bottles like 1-2 ounces and up to 5-6 ounces at times. And would.not.nap. Today but has been an awesome sleeper the last few days. He is sleeping on me for the first time all day. We've been up since 5am. I'm hungry but so afraid to move ?

wildflower810 - I don't think I'd tell my sister if I were in your situation. You want to have your own place, and I get that. If I told my sister, even if she didn't know my SN, I'd still feel like I should censor some things.
jjh1119 I've had a sleeping baby on me for the past 2 hours. I attempted to put her down at the beginning to make a PBJ sandwich but it didn't last long. Now a half eaten PBJ is taunting me from the table.
millm0m damn, that's a long time to stare at a pb and j. I fee for you He woke up but it was totally my fault- I was watching friends and it made me laugh. Lol I'm so tired that I can't do anything but just laugh at it all now. He will sleep eventually.
Grrr I was supposed to be done working at 3:00 today... I had all my stuff done and my boss schedules a team conference call for 4:00 fine whatever I do a few more things, grab lo from the nanny so she can go home and the "short" conference call just ended at 6:00pm! All the while Im rocking a cranky baby who was fighting sleep like a champ. Oh and my H picks today to stop at Menards instead of coming home after work. Ok sorry rant over
I'm glad for extended feeding sessions today. DH is making me dinner! It's bacon and eggs... which reminds me pixie523 did you have pancakes for breakfast?

I hate conference calls. At least most of the time you can mute but still, someone always is too loud and someone is always dropping off with that annoying beep. You deserve some chocolate!
