Anyone else getting tons of cramping? I feel like I'm constantly having period cramps and back cramps. I know it's probably Braxton Hicks but I don't remember it being this early and frequent in my previous pregnancies.
My midwife just asked if I'm having any yet. I'm not, but it wouldn't be unusual to. She said I'll probably have more with a second pregnancy, to the point of wondering if it's ok and normal. So I'd guess with a 3rd pregnancy and twins, you can expect lots. More than 3 or 4 in an hour, or increasing in intensity or frequency is when you should call.
2. Symptoms? My hips are killing me. They never fully recovered from labor with DS, and they are starting to really hurt all day now. Sleeping is difficult too.
3. Upcoming appts? Today actually. I have my GTT and then monthly appointment with the midwife. Next week I have to go for a follow up AS scan because they couldn't get pictures of what they needed of the baby's heart.
4. Rants/raves? Not too much. Everyone IRL is on my case about being Team Green. They are insisting we found out the sex and are purposely keeping it a secret. DS insists he is having a baby sister, so that doesn't help matters much. My mom even bought this adorable framed quote for the nursery that says, "Love her fiercely, but keep her wild." I told her I hope she kept the receipt because theres a 50% chance she will need it!
5. Gtky: What is you favorite thing about your pregnancy so far? What is your least favorite thing? Favorite thing - I dont keep self conscious of my weight at all. I actually feel good, and that I look nice most days. Also, baby kicks are sweet unless Im trying to go to bed!
Least favorite - the hip and joint pain. Plus I'm not use to the belly anymore. I knocked over a kid's computer yesterday during state testing because I bumped into it! We both laughed!
melody330, I think being team green is harder for others to accept than it is for the actual parents to deal with. Fortunately, I don't get too many negative comments but most people can't believe I haven't found out the sex. Funny about your DS - mine also says this baby is a girl even though I'm not convinced he knows the difference between a boy and a girl!

mcktymck, I had it when pregnant with my DD as well. It would be nice if it was just during the day and not at night, because that is what keeps me awake more than anything...when I cannot breathe out of my nose!

Have you tried those Breathe Right strips? DH uses them to help with snoring and I decided to give it a try last night, it definitely helped!

mcktymck, I have, but it didn't help much. I have found that I sleep better with the window open and fresh air coming into the room, and also if I shoot some saline up my nose before I go to bed (and if I get up at night to pee, I will use saline again)...and that seems to help

I am. It freaked me out because I didn't remember them being so frequent either. I chalked it up to this being my third but I plan on bringing it up at my next appt just to ease my nerves.
