My lunch meeting went good. My company (a) had brought in a 3rd party company (b) to gather the information. B is holding the meetings at all of the main sites a has in the us. The first week in March b will deliver the findings to a. B also will work with a on what can be done to accomplish somethings that are very important. B has also had the meetings with dad's since about a year or 2 ago my company added paternity leave in the mix.
The meeting was informative for me hearing experiences from other moms for what they went through while working for my company.
Add me to list of people who can't believe where the time went. I was complaining to DH last night about being uncomfortable and he said well its only a few more months. I told him no a few more weeks like 6. He said crap we have a lot of things to get done! It just hit him how close we are to having a second kid.
This is a very appropriate name for my day. dh had to do a T1 diabetes fast which involved him being grumpy and then an alarm going off every 2 hours all night for him to test his bs. So basically I didn't sleep and I am trying to nap but its not working. I had my weekly appointment and strep b test. I somehow lost back the crazy 5 pounds I gained last week, but I think it was mostly boots and lunch so they don't seem too concerned.
saltyfins We had to put air in all four of our tires the other day. Not sure if it's just because of the extreme temperature variations or if it was just time and they all happened to have lost the same amount of air. I feel your tire pain though especially because I have a Subaru and you basically have to replace tires in pairs or in sets whenever something happens so you don't eff up the AWD.
winningcolors All I could think about your Australian IT Dept is...isn't it already tomorrow there? Or is it yesterday? Silly international date line. I just got the Earth Mama nip butter from Amazon, haven't tried it yet obviously but it did have great reviews.
pearsforpoops I work at the same company as my husband but luckily we're in different departments and work on different floors. It's nice that we can carpool into work most days, but if I had to work directly with him I probably would hate life.
luckystarz I could totes go for a pedicure, maybe if I have a day off ever I will go for one.
snarkysparklefart I know I said it yesterday, but I'll say it again, I'm sorry that you have to deal with that. It sounds like you have a good mentality about it though!

mommyofkaylin Those coworkers would get SUCH the bitchstare from me that they would wish they had never said anything. For realz, why does anyone ever think it's okay to comment on someone's weight, even if they are losing it?
@cinammonlatte I am also so over being pregnant at work but then I think about it and I wonder wtf I would do sitting around all day by myself if I wasn't working for the next 3+ weeks.
OMG, I finally got my company to approve paying for school, for me!! They pay up to $5250 per year and, with this assistance, I will walk away with my bachelor's and only having to pay about $2400 out of pocket. Such a relief! My boss just found out it was approved today, so now I need to figure out what the next step is to actually getting them to make the payments, but YAY!!
pearsforpoops I worked with my XH while we were still married. It sucked. But it was in a male dominated department (parts and delivery for an auto dealership) so that didn't help much. When they decided it was too much of a pain for me to work there (because I couldn't load large pieces like hoods and quarter panels by myself) they made my ex fire me. Two weeks later, they fired him, too.

They are ahead of us (I'm on EST) by about 15 ish hours depending on which time zone they are in. So it is already Friday morning right now. It's weird, they are just arriving to work and my work day is about over.
I ordered the 2 oz jar of Earth Mama nipple butter today. I almost ordered 2 jars, but thought I'd try it out first.

Well that's absolutely awful. I'm sorry you had to deal with all that.
DH and I actually met through work and have worked together minimally before. It's not a huge issue. I just don't love that I'd be a "coordinator" and he'd be the "advisor" because AS IF he needs to hear that. Ha.

Wow, more March babies are coming! Now I'm starting to panic that we've got almost nothing ready.
I'm in the same boat of having almost nothing ready. Have my baby shower this weekend but DH has said that he'll get to cranking it all out. He nearly had a heart attack when he realized how close we really are holding the little one lol.
pele I'm sorry about the insomnia and false labor.
AFM, another night of craptastic sleep on the books. It felt like I tossed and turned all night as I just cannot sleep on my side comfortably anymore. I'm seriously wondering if I need to start sleeping in the recliner, in the family room. My hips just ache so bad and I wake up exhausted every morning. I really just want to sleep all weekend, but we are now in the throes of lacrosse season and my oldest daughter is at the end of basketball season as well. I feel like Saturdays are spent running around and sitting on bleachers all freaking day long.
I feel your pain, sister. I spend all night rolling from side to side because of the hip pain.
I really don't know how I'm going to make it though the next seven weeks "sleeping" like this : (

I know. I just want to sleep on my stomach again! Between my shoulders and my hips, it's agony.
You guise, I seriously may lose my mind with my neighbors. My neighbor next door to me, ties his dogs up, outside, every night for a couple of hours and the dogs bark nonstop. We live in a decently nice neighborhood, where the houses are close together. It is driving me insane. Also, the neighbor across the street has a dog and when their high schooler gets off the bus, after school, the first thing he does is tie the dog up OUT FRONT. My office is in the front of the house so all I hear, again, is barking and howling which, during the afternoon, then sets my dogs off (inside of course). I can't handle the howling and barking anymore.
OMG I can't stop adding baby socks to my registry! Someone stop me! I know they don't stay on. They're so adorable and tiny and precious.. I just can't help it! I have a problem.

DO not buy socks!
A. They don't stay on B. A good chance you will use more footed sleepers than not in the beginning. C. You will lose one of each of the cute pairs of socks in each load resulting in unmatched pairs of socks that don't stay on.
jennypm call the HOA or the police non emergency line, they should be able to help.
I facebook messaged the lady across the street. I somewhat know both of these neighbors (we're not friends, but we'll say hello if we see each other) so I should just be able to talk to them about the issue, right? I just don't really like confrontation, so I've been avoiding it, but I think I've reached my limit.

Step away from the sock department.
See we did use socks! All the time!! But R was born in Jan so maybe that's Why.

OMG, I keep falling asleep sitting at the computer but I can't go take a nap because I have to be here in case older DD needs homework help and because my mom is coming over in 45 minutes! Thank goodness DD is bringing me a coffee before he heads to the dentist after work!
Plus, I'm so excited about the babies, I keep compulsively refreshing the screen, looking for updates!
Also, a WTF Wednesday that I missed adding yesterday...I went to Hobby Lobby for some project supplies for older DD. When we got there, I was perfectly centered in my spot and so was the guy next to my drivers side. When I left, that guy had left and the new person in the spot was so far over to my side that their back tires were in my spot! So not only did my pregnant butt barely fit between them to get to my door, I also had no idea how I was going to manage getting younger dd into her seat behind me because I couldn't even open her door! I had to put her in the rear passenger seat (she's almost 3 and this freaked her out) until I could move to a different spot in the back of the lot and get her into her seat! I hate people who do that! It doesn't take more than a minute to reverse a couple feet to pull into your spot straight!

seriously ladies- do yourselves the BIGGEST FAVOR and buy a lingerie bag for baby socks.
We spent $360 in 2 months on washer repairs, it was never able to be fixed, and we had to buy a new machine because...... DDs socks got jammed in some part and it ruined the spin function of our machine. Do not pass go, they're $1-5 at target, the dollar tree/ family dollar.

Second this. Love this. I throw my bras in too.
Eta i literally clip the lingerie bag on dd's hamper and dh knows to put them in there. Huge time saver.

I would nap...
Yep. I would definitely nap. Also get all the crap done that I need to do.
