I am so sorry you had to go through that and I am so glad to hear you and baby are doing okay. Especially after seeing those pictures, scary. Thoughts and prayers that things keep looking up and baby can stay put!
Oh. My. Gosh. sarcaztic10, I am so glad that you are okay, those pictures are terrifying! Sending huge hugs your way, I can only imagine how freaked out you are from all of this. I'm so glad Silas is doing okay too, your angels were watching today!
Holy shit sarcaztic10 . Take time and rest easy. This will take a while to recover from, don't rush any of it! I'm so glad you and Silas are holding strong.

sarcaztic10 I'm amazed that you weren't seriously hurt. Hoping that luck keeps baby Silas put! My husband was in a less serious wreck in Aug and still has anxiety when in the car so it's completely normal to be emotional for a while.
Wow those pictures are scary and the whole experience sounds awful. Thoughts and prayers to you and baby Silas. Glad you're getting good care and hope you're able to heal up quickly physically and emotionally.
Wow, how terrifying! I'm so glad things weren't any worse. Will continue to pray for your entire family. Also, I hope no one else was hurt in the accident you were trying to avoid. I've been in a few near accidents and have been shaken up about them for a few days despite not actually being in an accident so you have every right to feel whatever emotion is hitting you.
Holy crap, those photos are unsettling just to see as an unattached viewer. It's amazing that you are alive! I'm happy to hear that so far everything seems to be going ok, I send good thoughts that all continues to stay that way for the both of you! Take it easy and don't worry about feeling anxious for a while, it is totally normal after such a traumatic event.

sarcaztic10 i was in an accident that wasn't that severe when i was 16 pretty sure it gave anxiety to drive on and off for quite some time. I am glad you are okay.
Yesterday they did a high level ultrasound and looked at Silas. He is doing well and is still getting plenty of blood. His brain and heart look good and he is measuring at 1.5 lbs. The Dr's drew more blood this morning to test the fetal cells present in my blood and those results are staying steady and look good.
So, given all of that they are letting me go home today!!! I will basically not be able to do much when I am at home other than be in bed, go to the bathroom, and walk around the house but I will be at home. I will come back to the hospital on Tuesday to get another ultrasound to check the placenta and if everything looks unchanged or is getting better they are going to hand me over to my OB for care. I will be out of work for the next couple of weeks so I guess I will be applying for short term disability on Monday. My mom is coming to stay with us for a week to help out with the animals and cooking and stuff.
I am so thankful for all of the T&Ps and positive thoughts from you all, I seriously love this community so freaking much. Silas still needs lots of good thoughts and pep talks to keep being so tough!
Today will be my first time in a car since the accident so calming vibes for me would be appreciated as well.
sarcaztic10, I'm so happy to see this update. I'm glad Silas is getting plenty of blood and that things look stable. I'm also so glad your mom is coming to help out.
