I don't know what is happening. Somehow today Bud took only one nap today. His regular morning nap and skipped out on his second nap and two regular catnaps.
He crashed at 7 pm (regular bedtime is 8), then was up: 7:30 8:00 9:30 12:30 --> now he's babbling and totally up. I just put him in a play chair because he is THAT awake.
So what happened to my good sleeper?
And do I give up now and caffeinate?
Just here to hug and commiserate. The last two nights have been up every hour and up for the day at 4. I feel like I am dying. I want my good sleeper back!
So two nights in a row of feeding both sides and no wake up an hour after going down... Perhaps we have found the solution to that issue! Also last night she went right back down for both wake ups (11&5). Nights are getting so much better and I once again feel like we are close to only one wake up!!!!
We were doing so well over the weekend while camping with only one wake up, then last night we were up every 2 hours and up for the day at 4:30. I passed her over to DH and went back to sleep for 2 hours. I'm hoping it was a fluke after a long camping weekend and then a party at our house yesterday where she was passed around to a million people.
V is going to sleep in her room tonight. Her and DS will share a wall. And no she isn't STTN regularly.
I am terrified.
My boys share a room and their room shares a wall with K's. It's not fun.... I don't know that we'll ever be able to sleep train
I'm thinking about sleeping in the living room while I sleep train DS in my room and then moving him. I have to do something. His sleep is getting worse and worse. We were up every hour last night and I can't function like this!!!

I'm trying to figure all this out too. E is in our room and her only other option is big sister's room. Clearly that isn't going to work yet. I worry about letting her scream on end because dd1 is on the other side of the wall and just started school so needs sleep. DH suggested putting E in our basement. I can't really get on board with her screaming all night long though for hours. The past two nights she's ended up in bed with me again.
Hour do you safely bedshare with a rolling baby though? She hasn't started rolling in her sleep but is capable.
Chase's sleep has kind of been a mess since we both got sick, but then he pulled a perfect night on Friday - 11 hours without a peep and he woke up quietly. He's been back to beast mode these last couple of nights, I have no clue where it's coming from. I'm just thankful that DH has been helping with MOTN wake-ups this time around. I'm still exhausted but skipping over the resentment helps.

K's sleep has really sucked. She's been waking up before midnight for her first wake. Me getting the stomach flu this weekend I think really messed her up. We were on a good up-twice-a-night schedule around 1 and 4, and now she's been up at like 11:30, 2, and 4:30. Wahhhhh.

W rolls all over when awake. When asleep, he either sleepa on his back or rolls on his side to face me. We have bed shared for about 2 months. He has never once rolled out of contact with me (I.E. one body part always touches me.) He will nurse and roll onto his back and if I roll over, he rolls onto his side to face me. That is it.

Ok this is pretty much what E has done the past two nights as well. Thanks!

You can put rails on the side of your bed. We had them when we used to bed share with DD.

Mattress on the floor. I slept in DD1's room on a mattress on the floor for a few months.

Who has sleep trained their M16 kiddo already? How did it go? Any sage words of advice? I am afraid DD might have an ear infection but after she gets cleared at her 6 month checkup I am all systems go for sleep training. So over sleeplessness.
We have started aiming for a 2,3,4 schedule... Or a 2,3,3.5 depending on when LO wakes up from her last nap. As long as she sleeps for at least 1.5 hrs during her first nap. If not we still try and do 3 naps, but the day and night work better when she does 2 longer naps.
Has anyone had luck putting LO down drowsy but awake? DH does bedtime and does not do it, but i have noticed that K takes a better nap if i put her down asleep. Isnt that backwards? I thought they were supposed to sleep better if they went into the crib awake?

+1 without the stomach flu. The before midnight one has me struggling whether to stay up or sneak to bed early (to be woken shortly thereafter).

We have since around 3.5 months. For awhile she cried/fussed a bit but now she generally doesn't. Just gets into a different position (generally her head smashed into the crib rails) and goes to sleep. sometimes she plays for a little before going down.
