Step MIL spilled the beans and told us SIL is pregnant last night at dinner (note to self.... Never tell her a secret). I'm super pumped for her, but so annoyed with SMIL. If it were me I'd be pissed if someone did that. Any way... C has 2 cousins really close in age and now this one will too! Super fun.

When we told our in laws we were expecting #2, MIL said "I knew it and I already told your dad (FIL) and sister". Okay, thanks for that.

Seriously infuriating!!!! Turns our SIL is piiiiiiiiiiiiiiissssed about the whole thing. I'm happy to be the innocent bystander in this.
Morning all. DH is starting week 3 of nights tonight. The forecast says it's suppose to warm up this week. I hope so, because Nora needs to burn some energy bad.

We had this happen with our first. I was expecting it, which is why our moms didn't know until I was comfortable with everyone knowing. However, she surprised me when she did the same thing with the news of the birth.
For later pregnancies, I snail mailed his family our announcements. Man was MIL mad when her sister opened her mail first!
Later birth announcements had to be sent as mass text messages to his family so that we got a chance to spread the news.
S woke up at 2. Nursed for an hour. Screamed for half an hour. Nursed for an hour. Flopped around on the bed like a fish for half an hour before passing out. Rough night for her after my rough day.

My mom took DD Thursday afternoon since she and my little sister were on spring break (they both work in elementary schools). I had to work Friday but I worked from home last week. H and I managed to get DD's room completely painted Friday while I worked between coats. We decorated it Saturday morning and it looks great! It feels really good to cover up the yellow/beige color that they had painted the whole house. Makes it feel more like our own.
We got a date night Friday, dinner and a movie, then went to my friends wedding Saturday night. It was a nice weekend and having two days to sleep in was awesome! And DD was so excited when she saw her painted/decorated room.
Thanks for checking on us! I was waiting around till I had more official news. We STILL don't have the results of his pulmonary function test (was supposed to take a few days, it's been 2 weeks). But they did say it went well. I could kind of tell it by watching his O2 numbers while it was going on. But his symptoms also weren't flared up at the time so idk how big of a role that played.
His appointment in Nashville went well. She was pleased with his growth. We discussed the benefits of doing the bronchoscopy and possibly being able to do his recircumcision at the same time (he goes for a urology consult today. The swallow study went well, but he didn't actually choke during it, which he does at least once a day probably. So idk if it was helpful. She did note that his adenoids are large, which is interesting because I've been concerned he's heen breathing through his mouth a lot lately.
On a side note- He was recovering from a stomach bug and vomited on the way down. I woke up sicker than hell the day of his appointment. The 5 hour car ride back turned into 8 hours with construction and pit stops and I almost told H we would have to stop somewhere and stay an extra night. It was bad.
So basically she thinks he does have an atypical case of NEHI, but thinks the other tests are important to rule out airway abnormalities. So we're waiting on them to contact us to get it scheduled. I had canceled it before because the was getting nervous about all the anesthesia he's already had. But she talked it through with us and I feel better

My son has now developed a habit of picking up pieces of dirt on the floor and saying "ewww trash." At least he throws them away? I just hope he doesn't do that at someone else's house.

That's crazy. Do you think people just like the attention of being the one who can tell big secrets? That's sad when you can't trust your own family to keep something quiet. Sorry that happened to you!
Guys I'm already clearing out Ds's 0-3 month clothes. Giving me all the feels. H and I are firm on the no more babies. But this one us growing like a weed.

C is having a rough toddler day. Everything I do results in a meltdown. I just put on a movie in hopes of keeping her content for a few minutes. That and popcorn seem to be doing the trick.

Seriously wishing I had gotten an appointment for LO this morning when I talked to the nurse. He looks like he feels miserable, but he is still playing and acting normal.
