Hello. Hope everyone is well. We're updating in a separate post because we feel like we don't really belong in either ttc or pregnancy check-ins at this point.
Now the initial rush is over, we are starting to come down a little. There is a shortage in hours at the local surgery for vampire nurses so we couldn't get an appointment until Thursday. We're debating going through the walk-in centre at the moment though because I've started cramping and feeling generally 'not right.' I don't know what it is. Maybe because we had a cp whilst ttc little S but the longer these cramps drag on for, the more hollow and weepy I feel.
A has begged me to call in sick for the week and stay in bed but if anything is happening, it's not something we can stop at this point. I'm just taking it easy for now and desperately praying it's nothing.
Fingers crossed we get to post something more positive after the weekend.
I'm sorry. I hope it's nothing more than early pregnancy stuff. Those first few weeks are nail biting. I agree that it's a wait and see at this point. I hope you get good news from your beta.

****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.

Have to be quick because little S will be calling for me soon based on last week's pattern. Had blood drawn today. Our results are usually available if we call the office after 48 hours - which means Monday, if tests are run after midday on a Thursday I stopped cramping late on Tuesday and I don't know if it's wishful thinking but I've had a couple episodes of heartburn (which I never had before my pregnancy with S)

Hey guys. Sorry we've been keeping a low profile but it's taking a while to get my head around the positive (!) result. I didn't dare say it out loud.
After everything we've been thinking and feeling the last couple weeks, I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. The results from the doctor were positive but it's taking a while to get settled into this pregnancy. Maybe once I've seen peanut at the first scan, I'll be able to relax.
Just wanted to share our news and to say thank you for your support and best wishes.

Next step is peeling my OH off the ceiling, lol. She's already started trying to get me to give her dates for scans and midwife appointments so she can book them off. I have to keep reminding her that it doesn't really work like that, lol.
We will need to sit tight for a couple more weeks and then I will call for a booking in appointment around 10 weeks - that's four more weeks! Gaaagh!

*warnings apply*
I started spotting heavily and cramping hard on Thursday. By this morning, I was bleeding heavily and I tested negative. Feeling wrecked. It didn't help when the postie turned up with the peanut charm we had ordered for my bracelet. Called the NHS helpline for advice on what to do now and waiting on a scan.
Maybe we'll try again soon but we'll probably be taking at least one cycle off. Will continue to lurk here but apologies if interactions stay minimal for now.
