I don't have a photo but I have been wearing her in the girasol my sol (it's a mei tai style one) I love it! H wears her in the lilliebaby too. I can't wait until she is ready for forward facing, she is gonna love it. The mei tai is amazing for naps when we are out. It doesn't matter how loud or crowded it is a min in that thing and she is asleep. If she isn't tired though she doesn't want to be in it.
Ummmm....where did you get the girasol?! Im literally dying for one!!
Also, we use our Moby and Ergo. I really want a woven wrap and we are borrowing a ring sling. W pops his seat in it tho. It makes it very challenging.
It took me FOREVER to find. But the store is called Hip Mommy. I'm not even sure where it is, but they ship to anywhere in the L48 for free. It shipped really fast and I'm so glad I did it, it's the best!
Well, I just sent a friend a pic where you could see C's legs and she said I should have rolled a towel under her so her knees would bend more. Now I feel like a crap mom for wearing her for several hours like that when it may have hurt her knees.
Don't feel bad, if she was in pain or uncomfortable she would have let you know. The M position is important in the long run though not for the knees but because of baby's hips. LO could still be a little small for that carrier still.

I think DS is outgrowing the Baby K'tan. He cried when I put him in it today. I switched to the Ergo (with just the seat cushion, not the whole insert) and he was a happy little guy. I'm kind of sad the newborn stage is coming to an end. And I hate the newborn stage!!!
So target is selling Tula now. For those who have both:
1. Is a Tula truly more breathable than an Ergo? 2. Is it easier than an Ergo to get on solo?
Trying to decide if I want one for the summer.
Tula sells a mesh that is super breathable. Otherwise, the regular Tula and Ergo are about the same as breathability goes.
I really want a mesh one or a Lillebaby all seasons. It's almost to hot in Alabama to babywear.
We have a lilliebaby all seasons and I have to say I'm a little disappointed with the "all seasonness" of it... I mean it's definitely cooler than a lot of things but I'm much cooler in the mei tai.
We use a lillebaby airflow. We love it! He loves being in it and looking around, I think he will absolutely love when he is able to forward face!
We had a ktan, and it worked well when he was smaller.
We also used and infantino infant carrier that I actually really liked! But I returned it once we got the lillebaby. I wanted to try babywearing with something cheaper to make sure he liked it before investing in the expensive carrier haha
We have a moby that I don't like, and he isn't too big of a fan of. I may try to sell it, because I don't forsee it being used with future kiddos.
I wish there was a babywearing group near me, but of course there isn't
Next time your in it, can you snap a pic? Maybe we are doing it wrong...

The reason I don't like it is it is time consuming to get on. I have youtubed many videos for different wears and haven't found one that works for me. But should I try it again, I will take a pic. Any suggestions for quick, easy wraps?
Also, LO is pretty particular in that he needs to be in/out in a matter of seconds with minimal adjustments or he will freak out.
Which is why I like the lillebaby, we are able to get it on quick and I don't really have to move any of his limbs to get him in. Does that make sense?
Thanks. H wears the Lillebaby a lot but he says it's really hot, maybe we are doing the mesh part wrong? Or maybe H is just a furnace...
It took me some time to get used to tying the mei tai, but now I can do it in like 5 seconds and don't need any help. You could practice without the baby maybe to get a bit faster? LO still usually cries when I am putting her in, but she stops once I start moving, a minute of crying isn't gonna kill her. You definitely have to practice to get fast. But basically, tie the waist band, put the kiddo in, and then swoop the straps around and under LO's legs, then tie in the back. I find it's faster than I can do the buckle ones. Idk about the infantino though I have heard not great things about that one, but I think you get what you pay for. I tried this one for a month from BWI before committing (it was 175 so definitely an investment.

As much as I want to use my wrap, A doesn't have the patience for it so we mostly use the beco Gemini. When A gets big enough to try a Tula without an insert I want to try one at a BWI meeting and maybe ask for one for my birthday in December. I think I would have worn C longer if I had a bigger carrier for him. He never wants to be worn anymore and never had the patience for me to practice back wrapping with him. I'm hoping for more luck with A and I need to keep trying the wrap with her.
I really want either a Tula or Ergo. We've been using a k'tan, and I do like it. But it seems too hot plus I think B will get too big for it soon. I have a ring sling too but I'm too lazy to use/practice with it.

I want a new carrier. J is too small for my beco soleil still and she is a hot potato so my ergo wrap is not usable with the weather. I've tried selling or trading my ergo wrap on the babywearing FB pages with no bites.
I'm going to ask for a carrier for my birthday. I'm leaning towards a solly wrap because they claim to be very light and breathable. But then I see the Tula and think maybe that's a better buy? I can't go too crazy on price.

If she's too small for your beco I think she'd be too small for a tula. E is over 15 lbs and 24 inches and doesn't fit ours yet without a rolled blanket.

Sollys are awesome but will soon be outgrown by our littles. Tulas are great but our littles may require an infant insert with them still. I recently dug out my Lillebaby and I had forgotten that they are a great SSC that does not require an insert! Mine is mesh and breathable since we use it for hiking a lot too.
katespade If you are looking for a wrap, go for a wrapsody breeze. They are cotton guaze so super lightweight. Have you tried a ring sling? W loves the ring sling and it's fairly cool.
I consider it a challenge before the whole human race, and I ain't gonna lose.

+1 to a mesh SSC or gauze wrap. I have been using a mesh Ergo with a pillow/blanket under her butt. And if you get the chance, try on some carriers to see if they work. I desperately wanted a Lillebaby and it just wasn't comfortable for me.

I really love the tula I have, but it's just a standard. I really want something mesh because it's so hot here in GA. I think I'll sell my original ergo and go for a breathable one. They have ergo 360s that are breathable, no?

I have a Solly wrap and I love it but I'm going to want something sturdier soon. I think I'm going to jump on the Tula bandwagon. I feel like the Solly wrap will not be as comfortable when she gets bigger.

Same here in Texas. I love my Tula but I want a mesh one. I'm just waiting for a print I love.

I just visited my best friend yesterday and she has one. I don't think it existed two years ago when I bought my ergo. Grrr...

My ergo is 6 years old. Pretty sure they didn't make the breathable ones then. I sold the ergo this morning. On the hunt for a mesh 4 position ergo or mesh 6 position lillebaby.

Just bought my first woven wrap! So excited, my local babywearing group is pretty active and they have weekly wrap challenges so I'm excited to join in.
Not sure if I mentioned it here or just FB but I'm trying out a new water carrier for free!!! Woohoo I'm going to be a brand ambassador. Can't wait to try it out.
