Guys, I'm losing sleep over not having a name picked for this little guy. DH and I are kind of down to 2 that I'm just "meh" about. Calliope has such a unique name, I can't come up with anything masculine to pair with it well... So I'm open to suggestions as well.... Please. I love Oliver. But it's popular. And sounds similar to our nephew's name... Especially if we end up calling home Ollie. DH prefers Samuel for that reason. I really would love it if you girls didn't mind helping me out with your opinions and suggestions. Thank you so much in advance!

Thanks, ladies! RedBean84 I'm intimidated by the BNB a bit, but they may have some ideas, so I'll ask them! I'm excited to see what kind of stuff they suggest!

Calliope is right up the alley of the ladies on the bnb so I bet you'll get great ideas! Personally I love Oliver and Samuel both!
I didn't vote, but I love discussing names! I really like both names a lot, but I don't love them when I say them along with C's name. Samuel seems a little plain next to it, and saying it with Ollie- there's a lot of Ls.
I only have 1 LO, so idk how often people say their kids' names together, so that may not be an issue for you.
Some names to consider if you're not set on those: Alexander Anson Augustus Dalton Dawson Hugo Orion Owen Theo
A lot (but not all) of those are Greek, which Google tells me C is too. Might be an avenue to explore to have them both from the same origin. I believe I read that tip on the baby name board lol

lucylou I never really thought about the whole, too many L's thing... A really good point. Ollie and Callie is a lot of L's. I really like Owen and I think it would be on our list, but DH has a great uncle with that name and I don't want him to be tied to that (nothing negative towards the uncle, but still).

I tend to like H names, too! But our last name starts with H, so I want to avoid H first names. I love your suggestions, though, ladies!! Thank youuuu!

I vote for Samuel. It's a nice, masculine name. You don't have to use any nick names of you don't want to. I used to like Oliver, but now I know a bunch of little Olivers, so it's kind of ruined for me.

Lol that's funny. Our #2 will have the same first letter as our last name.

Yeah I mean, if someone just introduced their kids to me I probably wouldn't even notice. It's just when I stop to analyze it
