I'm taking DS to see MIL at her work today. She mentioned wanting to show him off to coworkers. I feel bad it's taken me this long but it's over an hour away.
I woke up pissed off. I don't remember the last time DH was thoughtful enough to get Nora up and feed on his own just so I could sleep in. I mentioned this to him a couple months ago and he was all "I can't read your mind, you need to tell me" THAT'S NOT BEING FUCKING THOUGHTFUL.

I've been bogged down with a big project at work. It's nice because I've been working a lot from home but I've put in a lot of extra hours too. I'm glad to be back in the office today and hoping I won't be as busy since we are finishing up.
I've hit that point in pregnancy where everything is exhausting. After getting up and getting DD ready and out the door I'm ready for a nap! I've been drinking more caffeine this pregnancy because I'm having a hard time making it through the day without it. Still under the recommended amount but I feel a bit guilty.
ALSO - My IL's are awesome. My MIL had really been pushing us to get a quote for grading work on our property. Our backyard needs some drainage help, the water runs around the side of the house and sometimes the crawl space gets damp. We need a retaining wall finished (the previous owner started but didn't complete) plus grading and draining to re route the water properly. We have a ditch already on the side of our property that runs to a creek so they have an easy way to route it. Unfortunately it's a decently long retaining wall and the quote is 10,000! We had some other things quoted around the front of the house too and since it's mostly just grading and drainage it's not much more. Well MIL really wanted to know what the quote was and called last night to say they are paying for it. They feel it's really important for this to get done, especially to give peace of mind that we are doing everything we can to keep our house mold free.
I'm a bit in awe and shock. They have done so much for us already. And we are trying to get into the next available slot on this guy's schedule so it most likely will be done before DS is here. I just can't believe it's happening. We are getting the backyard done with retaining wall/drainage, plus they will sod the whole backyard. They are going to scrape and level our driveway and put down new gravel. They will be removing debris/cinderblock from where there were 3 mobile homes on the property. One of those is in our front yard and they are going to do a little grading to make our yard more level. One is where I want my arena so they will be grading out the arena. The other is where the barn will go. They are also cleaning out this "garden" area the previous homeowners had that is overgrown and full of river rock and grading that area out as well since it's a hill and needs drainage help.
It's going to be awesome to have all this done. OH they are also removing all the power poles and boxes from the mobile homes, burying the septic line in the front yard and the one where the arena is going. It's really going to make our property look so nice and set us up so that we can start fencing and putting animals on our pasture.
I have all the feels...I am donating the last of my milk stash tomorrow morning. It will be nice to have space back in my freezer and H can no longer blame me when we don't have room.
I meant it in the sense that all Sage wants to do is run around house. In to the neighbor's yard. Play in the flower beds. It took me an hour yesterday to hang a load of laundry on the clothes line.

I thought you were just trying to rub it in that you have had beautiful outdoor weather for a long time now.

No. I'm totally taking advantage of the nice weather.
