I looked at the allergy info for Chuck E cheese earlier this week and didn't see anything that she could eat. I also blasted them on FB about it the issue.
The policy doesn't seem to be well enforced because there were outside cake and cupcakes brought in. If you don't allow outside food for people whose kids have allergies, why allow outside cakes/cupcakes? They have cakes that can be purchased there for birthday parties.
I did stay and let the kids eat the McD's that I bought. I sat at a table with some of the family that was there for the birthday, and had everyones support on the issue. My SIL's mom actually said that if anyone came over and gave me a hard time that she would make them cry.
And it turns out that the manager that came over and told me about not bringing in outside for, isn't just a bitch about that. I overheard her talking to one of the cashiers, and she is just an overall bitch to people. Defiantly NOT the way a manager should be talking to her staff, in private, let alone right in front of customers.

Poof.... I totally think they should allow outside food for allergy purposes, though. That policy seems ridiculous given the amount of allergies these days. And bitchy managers always make things worse. I'm sorry you had to deal with her.
Edit: I removed a sentence because it wasn't helpful. It was me satisfying my need to prove things. I'm checking myself.
