AW Baby's First Birthday Party Here!

Juliet's party was yesterday! In true "me" fashion, I got next to no pictures of the decorations, but she had a butterfly garden themed party and it was fun! Small-at our house with like 14 people total-and relatively low key. She had a blast and I'm in disbelief my newborn is about to be one! She ate her cupcake like a champ. Oh and my husband did make her cake and the strawberry icing and though he needed my help, and had no clue how to ice a cake so I had to teach him, it was yummy!

This is a cross post from FB but I'm bored at work so...why not? Ella had her adventure in Onederland yesterday! I'm so happy with how it turned out. My BIL and his husband saved the day. I made most of the decorations and then about had a meltdown trying to figure out what to actually do with them...they sent me to the grocery store and to get the balloons when I came back, it truly was a wonderland!

Charlotte's birthday is today, but we had a small party a couple weeks ago when we travelled back home to MD. Ours was just a purple theme.

Allison had her One-derland party yesterday and had a total blast! We also had a surprise sex reveal and found out that baby #2 will be a GIRL!

I made a balloon arch and my SO made the number!


The cupcakes were a big hit.


His cousin didn't leave his side the whole day-- it was super cute.



We went to the zoo after the party, but I didn't take any photos. :-(

I just bought a few packs from the .99 cent store! (4 packs of 20 total: 2 packs of blue, 1 pack of white, and 1 pack of purple).  I also added a pack of 99 cent store tissue paper and some fake flowers.  I used some old yarn to tie the balloons together.  The whole thing cost about $10 and took about an hour and a half to do (while watching TV).  It definitely wasn't as professional or fancy as the ones I saw on Pinterest, but it was perfect for our needs.

Party was a hit! My wild child had an amazing time and put up with a party that lasted twice the amount of time we had set. Haha. We did cupcakes and she killed hers. We got some swimming in and tons of family and friends joined us.

Our real "party" will be in August. Today we just had immediate family over for dinner, cake and ice cream. Reagan had her first piece of cake AND her first rib!

Oh my goodness, all the babies are so lovely and BIG! When did this happen?? I love all the cake smashing.

we haven't had an official party yet, but I just have to show off my 1 year old toddler! Who is still basically bald. Hah.
