There was a huge traffic jam on the highway on the way to work this morning. As soon as I got to the end of my exit, I noped right back onto the exit going back to the road that I exited from. Which, of course, was backed up because most of the drivers in front of me did the same thing.
Nothing like an hour and a half commute in the morning when it's usually a nice 25-30 mins

I Pee all the time...okay like seriously. Lil past information with my DD I had UTIs pretty bad...Drs don't know why neither did I. Anywho I had to religiously stay with that gallon of water everyday or have one and then take antibiotics to get rid of it. SOOO this pregnancy I am being better at getting my water in to keep that from happening. BUT I GET UP LIKE EVERY 3 hours I swear. Its driving me insane. I am so tired.
Oh and I am only 5 weeks and totally would wear yoga pants every day if I could to work. That might not go over well.
Oh yes and now that I can do color font...its totally needed all the time now. lastnamewithheld , you were my inspiration .

We had a busy weekend. Some of my husband's family came in for a visit, which was nice. And I threw a surprise party for him on Saturday. Yesterday DS and I took a nap and then spent all afternoon playing outside.
I wore a maxi dress to work today because I can't even begin to deal with pants.
We have our appointment on Wednesday and I'm just dying! It was originally scheduled for today, but I had to reschedule it due to a work conflict. I really wish now I had kept the appointment and just told work to deal with me being out!
DH and I have our first counseling session tonight. We scheduled it before my BFP and the counseling was to discuss many things, but a lot to do with infertility and IVF.

Hope your party went well!
And +1 for not wanting to deal with pants. When is it acceptable to get a belly band? The struggle is real right now.
I just almost passed out at work. I was taking to a patient and her mom when the patient started seizing. Usually that doesn't bother me at all, but I started getting dizzy and blurry vision so I excused myself and went and sat down in the office. Ahhh. It scared me. Now the cat is out of the bag at work.
Hope you're feeling better by now. My last 2 pregnancies I also got light headed and dizzy spells. That is pretty scary. I'm happy that I didn't get that symptom again.

I think the jig is up at work too. My big boss gave me this weird look and smile this morning. Maybe it's in my head but I feel like he suspects something. And the RE's office called and wanted to schedule my appt for tomorrow. I only got to push it back to Weds. So, I may have to sit with my director and just tell him what's up.
My husband has a sneezing issue and it's so annoying! Every morning he sneezes about 10-15 times, blows his nose non-stop, then he's stuffy... it drives me bonkers! I know it annoys him too, but man! He had surgery for a "Deviated septum" in June thinking that would at least fix the issue, but nope.... he's tried a few different RX's also and nothing helps. Someone save me from my misery!
So much for my worry yesterday about the fact that my nausea faded. It's back in full force today! I told my boss that I'm pregnant (we're pretty close) and she thanked me for waiting to have a baby until after the election (I work in politics, that's as far into it as I will go). Um, yeah, because having my baby when it's convenient for everyone else in the office is what I was striving for?
Hi purple! How are you? I was just thinking I hadn't seen you around.
Hi! We were away for a long weekend, Fri-Mon, with my parents. It was lovely to get away. L is having a rough day today and I think it's because she had got used to more people being around!
We told my parents about our December baby and they are shocked and thrilled. I still feel a bit like that, to be honest!
I'm just catching up on new intros and everything else that went on whilst I was away.

lastnamewithheld ahhhh, here's to hoping the next 48 goes by quickly!
So with my first pregnancy, and with DD, I had terrrrrrible heartburn. I was starting to think I was going to get lucky this time around.... but, nope. It came back like a bitch last night and even woke me up and has been hanging out ever since. Go away heartburn - nobody likes you!

Question for STMs or just people who are in the know. Did your doctor suggest the Harmony test or others like it? Or only for people they consider high risk? If your insurance didn't cover it, how much was it OOP? My understanding is it starts around 10-11 weeks so I'm wondering if that will be part of my first OB appointment.
After almost three years of TTC, IVF #1 = Menopur + Follistim + other stuff. Retrieved 14, 12 mature, 7 fertilized, only 1 (6AA) made it to day 5 blast. BFP! DD born 12-10-2016
babycowbell, I think with my hospital if you elect for first tri screenings then it's Harmony. I see women in the blood lab with the boxes all the time. I assume it's who my hospital got the best deal with. Not sure if it's OOP or under co-pay. There is a basic amount of testing offered to all patients in the 1st trimester, with the results from them deciding if you need more testing. At least that's what I understand from the paperwork they gave me.
