lostinfaith225, hang in there with nap time. That was way harder than bedtime for us, but it finally clicked when the novelty of the big boy bed wore off, and DS started napping well again. Well that was until we potty trained him. Now he just wants to go potty for the entire nap :-) Crossing my fingers the potty becomes less fascinating soon because I'm really not ready to say bye bye to naps.
Thanks! That's what I'm hoping! He's so excited about the big boy bed right now and the Thomas bedding. He's at his grandparents today since the new carpet is coming.
We are an all Thomas all the time house as well! Our boys probably have the same sheets.
Rant/raves? I'm really worried baby is breech. I know it's silly and that she has time to move but I have just been really anxious about it. Thanks, anxiety.
Gtky: What is your favorite light meal or dessert for warmer weather? Fruit salad or fruit flavored gelato. All about the light sweets in the summer!
jenn83 ohhh the peeing. And it doesn't matter if you've chugged water before bed or had nothing to drink in hours, still getting up the same amount of times at night to go! Over the weekend we went on a 25 minute walk around a park right by us. I peed right before we left, had to stop and use the restroom at the park, and then went again as soon as we walked in the door. 25 MINUTES.
I can't wait to get regular use of my bladder again. I know it's not great for a bit after baby's born either but at least it won't be this bad! I do the same thing whenever I have to leave the house -- pee right before I leave, then immediately seek a bathroom right when I get somewhere, and then usually need to use again within the next half hour. So fun!

Sounds like me I go like every 30 minutes. There is also way more pressure down there

1. About two hours after giving birth last time, I peed for like a minute straight. It was glorious. My bladder finally had space!
2. I pee hourly during the day. When I go out with my kid or I'm babysitting, I can only go to playgrounds that have bathrooms next door. I seriously know where every public bathroom is in my town.

This exactly! I will be in meetings and I can literally feel her punch my bladder. Or as soon as I stand the weight of her on my bladder promptly sends me to the bathroom. So done.

Add me to the Thomas club! I bought DS Thomas shoes this weekend and he insisted on wearing his "choo choo shoes" to bed! I bought Thomas bedsheets to surprise him when his big boy room is ready.

mcktymck (and anyone else with back pain!) I highly recommend a pregnancy support belt! My naturopath and OB both suggested I use one, and it really makes a difference. Took a few days of getting used to, but it's been great!

Haha! I got them on Amazon!
Same!
And also to littlesthobo, I wish I enjoyed Thomas as much as my son. This big Thomas and Friends train and event comes to our area every summer. This year it happens to be the weekend of my due date. My parents will be here so I'm happily planning on sending the 3 of them on their way!

Is it Thomas' day out? Where you can go for a train ride on Thomas?

How far along? 27+4
Symptoms? Besides the usual back/tailbone pain, this is the best I have felt my entire pregnancy this time around.
Next appt? May 16
Rant/raves? So much is going on right now. Pissed at DD's daycare for making me jump through obnoxious hoops for her "special diet" of no oranges. Moving all of our stuff to our new house next weekend and finishing up my last three weeks of work before we actually move in move in! We are moving for H's job, which will switch our insurance (luckily it's immediate coverage). He will be working at a hospital and the way it works they will cover 100% if you see them for services. So delivery would be covered, which is awesome except I now need to switch my OB. I am actually okay with it since I never get to see the OB I actually like and would more than likely end up with the one I don't like for delivery. I delivered with my current OB last time and I am probably more attached to the awesome birthing suites they had at the birthing center.
Gtky: What is your favorite light meal or dessert for warmer weather? I could eat watermelon for an entire day probably. However it is probably the worst pregnancy snack because of how much it makes me pee.

lostinfaith225, yep. Was it fun? I think it travels everywhere. We didn't think DS would be into it enough last year. But I think he will go crazy this summer. But I can't say I'll be too sad to miss it :-)
Symptoms: a lot of pelvic pressure from the way he is positioned, trouble sleeping
Next Appt: down to every two weeks so next is May 5th I believe
Rant/Raves: working 12 hour night shifts is starting to get to me. The L&D unit I work on is so busy so I often don't sit all night. My plan was to work right up until delivery but I'm already struggling so we will see:/
What is your favorite light meal or dessert for warmer weather? Hmmm. Meal- skinny taste's zesty shrimp and avocado is my favorite in the summer. Dessert- really good key lime pie.

Yeah! Ds loved it! Haha. He got to meet sir topham hat. There was Thomas trains set up, food, story time. You could watch Thomas leave the station and get your pic with Thomas. I believe it does travel around. I would like to take ds this year, but I think it comes our way in August.....so we will see!
Next appt? 5/9 Should just be a quick check up and then I go to biweekly! Endo appointment yesterday was a bust. I don't know why he didn't just reschedule me for after I was pregnant..... I go back in late October. Early October I will have an ultrasound on my thyroid and blood work done.
Rant/raves? Just glad to be feeling him more. I hate that we are hitting the busy season for family holidays. lol These next two months consist of 3 birthdays and 2 holidays.
Gtky: What is your favorite light meal or dessert for warmer weather? I really just love food. But I do love how a lot of fruit is in season and grilling a lot!

My OB believes I have SPD so I'll be wearing a pelvic support belt and doing PT. I one-day shipped the belt from Amazon so that it gets here today and I'm oddly excited to wear it, just because I know it's going to help with both my pelvis and my back haha

Do you have pain on just one side? All the sudden I got this pain in my left groin and if I touch my groin and pubic bone it hurts to the touch and the only thing I found online is spd. Boo.
tikoberry99 mine is my entire pubic bone area and same sort of sensitivity you're feeling. Even wearing stretchy running shorts is uncomfortable. I'm talking with my OB more about it on Fri at my appointment but my uncle is a PT and said to wear the support belt (I can send you the one I purchased), sit in chairs that force me to have good posture so that I'm not slouched over, and do the workouts the PT gives me. He also said that unfortunately the pain will most likely not get better until baby comes, but with the belt and workouts it shouldn't get worse.

So I shouldn't lay in my recliner witj my laptop on my legs while I work lol. U guess I should try working at my actual desk at home.

At least here, the tickets go fast, but I think I bought in July for an aug time. You could always decide later!
