... without vomiting. Gagged several times after getting up, and am hoping I can keep my meds down. Can't attempt to eat because of my synthroid which requires an empty stomach and not eating afterwards for 30-60 minutes... hoping this preggie pop helps... but am wondering what makes it any different from a regular sour candy lol. Maybe it would have saved me money.

Just breathe! ! Hopefully you can keep from being sick! I ordered the preggie pops, but have not received them yet. Got Sea Bands and the pharmacy last night. Could only wear one, but it kinda helped. Don't know if it really did or if it was in my head though!

Ask your doctor for zofran. You can get the dissolvable tablets...it's been the only thing to help me. However, it does cause constipation, so get some colace or miralax to go with it!
Unisom (doxylamine succinate) 12.5mg (half a tab) and 25mg B6 each night is what gets me through the day. It's making your own Bendectin/Dickegis. Ask your doctor about it (just invade drug interactions, etc.). It's relatively cheap to prepare for yourself. I'm 26w, and I still vomit if I don't take it. Good luck!
Sorry you're feeling so poorly. :-( The preggie pops helped me a lot, more so than anything ginger or other candy. I didn't need medication, but don't be afraid to ask if you can't get through your day.
I'm sorry you feel so bad! The M/S is the worst. I second the request for Zofran. The dissolvable tablets were great. I would still be nauseous, but it kept me from puking. I also took Unisom and B6 at night, which helped me sleep and get a good hour or two of feeling normal in the morning.

SweetieShellie I'm sorry you aren't feeling well I am also on Synthroid so I feel your pain about trying not to eat when you first wake up. I have to say though, I stretch the rules a bit as I feel like it's better to eat something and keep my Synthroid down than not eat and end up throwing it up. I hope those preggie pops help!
My sister swears by preggie pops but they did nothing for me other than give me heartburn. My RE wouldn't give me Zofran because they said it had just been proven unsafe in first tri. I used Diclegis only because my insurance would cover it but only for 2 a day when I was prescribed 4 a day so I usually took a unisom and a B6 pill at night and one Diclegis in the morning and one in the afternoon. I was still nauseous but I wasn't throwing up and I think it took the edge off a little.

Oh, and I found jolly ranchers to work better since they didn't dive me heartburn. I also found that chewing spearmint gum helped a lot to get the nasty metallic taste out of my mouth.

SweetieShellie I'm sorry you're feeling so bad I swear by my ginger tea. I buy a big piece of organic ginger, peel it, and then slice it up into small pieces about the size of a fingernail and throw it into a ziploc in the freezer, it stays fresh that way. And each morning use 4 pieces and add boiling water. It's really good to sooth your tummy and is great for digestion as well. I happen to love ginger, I know not everyone likes the taste but it's worth a try.
I'm sorry you're feeling ill, SweetieShellie. I've had fairly light-grade m/s (like, lots of nausea, but no vomiting) until today. I told mh that I fought the m/s and the m/s won.
I'm sorry you're feeling bad! Diclegis (unisom and b6) at night and zofran during the day were my best friends until I was 16/17 weeks along when the ms/puking finally subsided.
I also take Synthroid in the am on an empty stomach. I found that 2 Diclegis (prescription for Unisom and B6) at night (9pm)- helped me for long enough to take my Syntrhoid first thing in the morning and eat 30 minutes later. I also added a Diclegis at 3pm as my morning sickness got worse.
