My crazy pills are not working. I'm still keeping it together somewhat.
Yesterday Jake was allover me and I needed to open the oven.
I took him into the living room and dumped puffs on the table so he'd leave me alone.
When I need five minutes peace, I put a whole bunch of puffs on the high chair tray and stick her in. She's happy as pie, and I get dinner on. You're an amazing woman who's been shouldering a ton lately. HUGS!!! And I refuse to say they're creepy!!! HUGS babybarlow2014 !!
MIL is in the hospital, an hour and a half away. DH is going to visit her tomorrow. I'm not going because I don't want to bring DS to a hospital. I'm secretly relieved I don't have to go.
Please report back, I have been tempted by these things but not sure if I really believe you get any results
I have done them before and live it. Lost 12 pounds on a 9 day before. I admit not cheating on the cleanse is hard but 12 pounds was worth it. I did keep it off too. But it is all about what you put back into your body afterwards. For me it was a decision to change my eating habits. But if you want a quick weight loss jump start, it helps!

Ok with the door stopper. Be careful because I let DS play with it & apparently that little white cap can come off. DS had it in his mouth. I grabbed it quickly away from him.
Another great distractor is spring door stops. This kid will play with one for a solid 5.
DS learned how to twist it and get the entire thing off the wall and he learned how to pull off the white cap. He was very sad that he couldn't play with his new favorite toy. Another favorite is the recycling - he tries to pull it over.
I love my niece to pieces! BUT, sometimes I wish she would go do her own thing when I'm visiting DS.
Anytime he does something new, she has to say "look, I can do it!" and steal his thunder. He's close to walking so when he takes 3-4 steps we get excited and encourage him. Immediately she runs over and says "I can walk!" and repeats it over and over again until everyone pays attention to her.
I know it's super silly of me, but she was the first grandchild so she got a ton of attention while she was a baby and everyone got excited when she accomplished something. I just want some of that for DS before the attention goes back to her.
Honestly, I think it's because SIL doesn't play with her all day and is on her phone so niece gets attention however she can.

Oh god, same here.. he looooves the trash can. he's been trying to pull it around the kitchen with him. the stools too..
I listen to a super inappropriate radio show with DS in the car. I told myself I was going to stop listening to it around him the first of the year but it's so addicting. At least it's on regular radio so there's no swearing.
I'm an angry winter driver and have been swearing up and down with DS in the car.

Sometimes I worry something is wrong with me because I never really think about my previous misscarriages or the fact that I had DD vis emergency c section after two hard days of induced labor. I mean when these things occured of course I was upset but now they rarely cross my mind.
I had food poisoning last night, but was in bed around midnight, DS sttn and we woke up around 7, so it wasn't really a bad night and I got plenty of sleep. My confession is I told my mom I was still sick so she would take DS for the day while DH is working. Now I am lounging around watching TV.

I guess this is partially a vent...
I totally know how you feel! My kids are grandchildren #7 and #10. They are loved, but they are not nearly as spoiled rotten as the first 3 grandkids. My MIL does whatever she can, but I feel bad that they don't get the kind of attention that the first ones get. Such is life!

I was really not very nice to DH this morning over something done and over with ages ago that really didn't even need to be mentioned. I felt so bad after he left for work.
AF arrived right after he went to work and now my uterus feels like it is being ripped from my body.
At least now I know why I was so grumpy and I probably deserve it. (Ibuprofen can kick in any minute now though.)

DH is a just an angry impatient drives since he basically drives all day for work. Curses up a storm. I told him if daycare or school ever called me telling me DD said a bad word, I'm telling them to call him and he can deal with them because she didn't get it from me.
